The KTM RC range includes RC 200 and RC 390. Both are a fully-faired model of KTM Duke 200 and KTM Duke 390. KTM RC 200 is available in following colors namely: Black with White & Orange. The bike is priced at Rs. 1,68,686 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi) and it compete well with Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 and Yamaha YZF-R15.

The KTM RC200 and the RC390 have been one of the most hyped and sought after motorcycles of 2014 and they have created a huge stir amongst the Indian bikers since their launch last month. KTM-Sportmotorcycle AG is an Austrian Motorcycle manufacturer company, which is known for its off-road and street machines. One of such, KTM RC 200 is the fully-faired model of Duke 200. The bike is powered by a 199.5cc, Single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, spark-ignition engine that is mated to a 6-speed transmission and mechanically operated clutch for power transmission.
The bike is bolted on a powder-coated tubular space frame made from steel tubes. It has a stylish and new twin headlights. The twin rear view mirrors are fitted on the windshield and incorporate clear lens turn indicators that look amazing. The instrument console of the bike is fully digital and easy to read. The machine has been fitted with a huge fuel tank of 9.5 liters capacity and large tank shrouds that give an upright riding position to the rider. Furthermore, it is equipped with a well-padded split seat that offer high-end comfort level to the rider and the pillion.
Coming to the rear, the bike features an LED tail light that act as a support to the rear fender and clear lens turn blinkers are embedded on a number plate holder. It has also been provided with tubeless tyres that are mounted over an elegant alloy wheels. The machine is also furnished with the disc brakes and WP suspensions at both, the front and the rear.
KTM RC 200 is a fully faired bike and features a twin projector headlights at the front. The keen front-end has the parking lights just beneath headlights. Twin rear view mirrors are mounted on a windshield and turn indicators are neatly placed on the mirrors stalks. It comes with a huge fuel tank that has big tank shrouds that provide a good riding stance to the rider. The instrument cluster of the bike is easy to read and fully digital that comprises of speedometer, tachometer, fuel and temperature gauges, odometer, trip meter and gear shift light. Furthermore, it has been equipped with a split seat set-up that offer an optimum comfort to the rider as well as the pillion. The RC 200 receives a black color scheme with KTM 200 written on the fairing and the RC moniker finds its place just below on the panel that covers the exhaust system.
Talking about the rear, the rear panel is keen that looks appealing as it employs an LED tail light that act as a support to the rear fender. The clear lens turn indicators are fitted on the number plate section. Built with a powder-coated tubular space frame made from steel tubes, the bike has an overall body dimension of 1978 mm in length, 688 mm in width, 1098 mm in height along with a wheelbase of 1340±15 mm that gives it an indispensable look on the streets. It has a minimum ground clearance of 157 mm that offer an agile and sharp handling while cornering. The total kerb weight is 154 kgs that make it easy to ride.
KTM RC 200 is propelled by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, a spark-ignition engine that develops a 24.65 bhp of power @ 10000 rpm along with a maximum torque of 19.2 Nm @ 8000 rpm. The powerful engine is linked to a 6-speed claw shifted transmission and uses a mechanically operated clutch that transmits the power to the rear. The fuel injected mill has a power oriented bore x stroke ratio of 72 mm x 49 mm. It has a total kerb weight of just 154 kgs thus in result it offer a decent power-to-weight ratio of 160.4 bhp per tonne. With this setup, the vehicle can sprint 0-100 kmph in just 9.30 secs and can hit a top speed of 140 kmph. It has also been fitted with an electric start button for an easy start.
The bike runs on 110/70x17 inch front and 150/60x17 inch rear tubeless tyres that are mounted on an elegant alloy wheels. These tubeless tyres have a good adhesion on the road. RC 200 comes to halt with the help of 280 mm Disc brake with four-pot brake caliper at the front and 230 mm floating disc brake with one-pot brake caliper at the rear. The suspension system of the bike consists of a 125 mm travel with WP 43mm upside down telescopic forks at the front and 150 mm travel with WP mono-shock absorbers at the rear.
KTM RC 200 come with projector headlamp that brighten up the road pretty well and provide a steady light of beam at the night even in low rpm condition. The tubeless tyres have a good grip on the road and do not deflect in the case of puncture instantly.
