The PureEV eTryst X is an electric commuter bike that is positioned as an eco-friendly alternative to entry-level 110cc petrol-powered commuter bikes.
Price
The PureEV eTryst X is on sale at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1,49,999 (Bengaluru). This electric motorcycle from PureEV is offered in three colour choices – Red, Black and Blue.
Key Features
For an entry-level electric bike, the PureEV eTryst X has decent features like reverse mode, hill start assist, downhill assist and parking assist for added convenience. It also gets other features including coasting regeneration, smart regenerative braking and combined braking system.
The PureEV eTryst X also has an all-LED setup for its triangular headlamp, clear lens turn indicators and tail lamp. It comes with a full-LED instrument console with basic details, including the speed, riding mode, odometer readouts, remaining range and battery level. There are three riding modes on offer – Drive Mode, Cross Over Mode and Thrill Mode.
Motor and Battery
The PureEV eTryst X comes standard with a 3kW BLDC (Brushless DC) electric hub motor, which can produce a maximum torque output of 60Nm at 60kmph. The eTryst X can reach maximum speeds of 50 kmph, 75 kmph, and 85 kmph in the Drive Mode, Cross Over Mode, and Thrill Mode respectively.
The PureEV eTryst X gets a 3. 5kWh lithium-ion battery, which can be charged from 0 to 100 per cent in 6 hours. The maximum claimed range of the PureEV eTryst X varies between 111 km in the Thrill Mode and 171 km in the Drive Mode.
Suspension And Brakes
Like any conventional entry-level commuter, the PureEV eTryst X gets a telescopic fork at the front and dual coil springs at the rear. With an 80/100-18 front and 80/100-17 rear tyres, the PureEV eTryst X has a braking setup of 220mm discs at both ends.
