The prices of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6 range have been increased. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 changed the fortunes of the brand. While it was initially believed that it would get a new engine to comply with the BS6 emission norms, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 still makes use of the UCE mill. Royal Enfield has also introduced a couple of finance schemes for the Classic 350 which allows potential customers to pick up the bike by paying a low down payment of Rs 20,000. The first three EMIs have also been reduced.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 Price: The Royal Enfield Classic 350’s price begins from Rs 1.59 lakh for the single-channel ABS version and from Rs 1.67 lakh for the dual-channel variant. On certain colours of the dual-channel ABS trim, you also get alloy rims. Prices of these models are a bit higher than that of the standard spoke rim versions. The dual-channel ABS Classic 350 comes in six colours: Chrome, Gunmetal Grey, Sandstorm Sand, Airborne Blue, Stealth Black and Classic Black (replete with golden pinstripes). The single-channel ABS version gets four colours: Chestnut Red, Ash, Mercury Silver and Redditch Red.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 Features:
The Classic 350 has never been a feature-rich motorcycle, receiving only some minor updates since 2009. The lighting systems are basic bulb units, the speedometer is a simple analogue unit and aside from the odometer, there is no other data relayed back to the rider. There are two tell-tale lights for low fuel and engine check (introduced with the BS6 updates). It arrives in two trims: single-channel and dual-channel ABS. The Classic 350 finally gets closed-loop fuel injection with an oxygen sensor in the exhaust.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 Engine:
The Classic 350 continues to be powered by the same old 346cc single-cylinder air-cooled UCE thumper in the BS6 era. By complying with BS6 norms, the engine has lost 0.7PS in the process, now producing only 19.3PS. Thankfully, the torquey charm of the motor remains, churning out 28Nm even after the BS6 updates. A standard 5-speed gearbox is found on the Classic 350.

The foundations of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 are pretty simple and conventional. The trusty steel single-downtube frame uses the engine as a stressed member. The chassis is suspended by a telescopic fork and twin gas-charged shocks. It runs on a 19-/18-inch wheel setup. On the models of the Classic 350 that get spoke rims, you get 90/90-section front and 110/90-section rear tyres. While the front tyre remains the same on the ones that get alloy wheels, a wider 120/80-section rear-tyre is used. The tyres are also tubeless on the alloy rims versions.
