Ather has launched the Rizta electric family scooter in India starting at a price of Rs 1.09 lakh ex-showroom

Comes in 2 variants, the base S variant & the top end Z variant which offers more features
Z variant has 2 sub- variants – First, with a 2.9kWh battery pack with 123km IDC range – Costs Rs 1,24,999

Second variant gets a larger 3.7kWh battery pack – 160km claimed IDC range – Costs Rs 1,44,000 (all prices are introductory ex-showroom)
Boxy family-scooter like design – Apron mounted headlight & turn indicators, large seat & chunky grab handle and pillion backrest
Has 34-litre underseat storage & 22-litre frunk on apron, so 56-litre storage space overall!
Both variants are powered by 4.3kW motor and have a claimed top speed of 80k
S variant gets 7-inch deep view LCD display like the 450S – With only turn-by-turn navigation
Z variants feature same 7-inch TFT console as the Ather 450X, with a different layout – Gets full fledged google maps navigation
2 riding modes Smart Eco & Zip, & a reverse mode – Gets same features as the 450X including AutoHold, Emergency stop signal (ESS) & guide me home lights.
Z variant comes with magic twist regen braking & a traction control system – First time for an electric scooter
Along with this Ather has also unveiled the Halo smart helmet, with inbuilt speakers – Costs Rs 14,999
