Tork Motors launched the Kratos electric motorcycle in January 2022. It’s available in two variants: standard and R. The standard model costs Rs 1,32,499 and the Kratos R is priced at Rs 1,47,499 (both ex-showroom Pune, including FAME II subsidy). They have now started production of the Kratos and intend to deliver the first lot of motorcycles by the end of April 2022. Kratos Price
Tork has priced the Kratos at Rs 1,32,499 and the Kratos R retails at Rs 1,47,499 (both ex-showroom Pune including subsidies). Similarly, you can avail of the government subsidies in various states and save quite some money.
Kratos Features
Tork has equipped the Kratos range with a variety of features like LED illumination, a fully digital console with Bluetooth compatibility, navigation. You also get multi riding modes, a USB charging port, anti-theft system, safe home feature, crash alert, ride analytics, guide me home lights and OTA updates. The Kratos also benefits from regenerative braking.
Kratos Powertrain
The Tork Kratos and the Kratos R are powered by a 4kW axial flux motor. However, the peak output and torque vary for the two – 7.5kW and 28Nm for the standard bike and 9kW and 38Nm for the R model. While the standard model accelerates from 0-40kmph in 4 seconds, the R variant does it in 3.5 seconds. The motor is mated to a 4kWh lithium-ion battery that offers 180km of IDC range and 120km of real world range. Using the fast charging system (only for Kratos R), the bike can be charged about 80 percent in an hour.
Kratos Suspension & Brakes
It uses a split trellis frame suspended on a conventional telescopic fork and monoshock. The braking hardware comprises a front and rear disc with CBS. The Kratos rides on 17-inch alloys wrapped and tips the weight scale at 140kg.

The Tork Kratos is an impressive motorcycle for a young company’s first attempt. However, the glaring issue of the overheating motor cannot be overlooked. While this is something that can be fixed in production, at this moment, we wouldn’t recommend this electric motorcycle. Rather, we would advise you to wait it out for Tork to iron things out and present a complete and trustworthy product.
