Tork Motors launched the Kratos electric motorcycle in January 2022. It’s available in two variants: standard and R. The standard model costs Rs 1,22,499 and the Kratos R is priced at Rs 1,37,499 (both ex-showroom Pune, including FAME II and state subsidy).

Tork has equipped the Kratos range with a variety of features like LED illumination, a fully digital console with Bluetooth compatibility, navigation. You also get multi riding modes, a USB charging port, anti-theft system, crash alert, ride analytics, guide me home lights and OTA updates. The Kratos also benefits from regenerative braking.
The Tork Kratos and the Kratos R are powered by a 4kW axial flux motor. However, the peak output and torque vary for the two – 7.5kW and 28Nm for the standard bike and 9kW and 38Nm for the R model. While the standard model accelerates from 0-40kmph in 4 seconds, the R variant does it in 3.5 seconds. The motor is mated to a 4kWh lithium-ion battery that offers 180km of IDC range and 120km of real world range. Using the fast charging system (only for Kratos R), the bike can be charged about 80 percent in an hour.
Kratos Suspension & Brakes
It uses a split trellis frame suspended on a conventional telescopic fork and monoshock. The braking hardware comprises a front and rear disc with CBS. The Kratos rides on 17-inch alloys wrapped and tips the weight scale at 140kg.

Design and Features

Tork T6X is powered by a brush-less DC 6KW motor along with lithium-ion batteries that can generate an instant maximum torque of 27Nm, giving it a quick pickup. Owing to this motor the eco-friendly bike can attain a top speed of 100 km/hr. This unit is prepared such to offer fast charge, it can charge up to 80% in just an hour. With this, the bike can travel 100 km for every charge. Tork T6X is employed with TIROS (Tork Intuitive Response Operating System) that promises optimum power management. The system analyzes power consumption for every ride and can forecast the accurate range based on the charge.
Braking and Handling
The performance bike utilizes each unit of energy smartly with its regenerative braking system. This braking system produces enough retardation to bring the bike to a standstill in just a matter of a moment owing to the fitted front 267 mm and rear 220 mm disc brakes. The ride quality of the bike is also appreciable, which is a result of its well-calibrated suspension assembly consisting of front telescopic forks and rear spring loaded hydraulic units. The bike is also light in weight and has a kerb weight of just 130 kg.
Safety and Features
The makers of Tork T6X haven’t compromised on its safety as well, the dominating headlamp unit of the bike comes appointed with the mandatory AHO (Auto Headlamp ON) feature. Under this feature headlamps remain in a default ON mode at any time of the day, to ensure that the rider gets a clear visibility on the road. This is a step to reduce the chances of road accidents. Along with this, the bike promises you a stable braking performance with the help of its front and rear 267 mm and 220 mm disc units respectively.
