Hero Xoom 160

The Hero Xoom 160 was unveiled at EICMA 2023. Hero MotoCorp has revealed that the maxi-scooter will be launched in FY2025, and we think it’ll probably happen in early 2025. The Hero Xoom 160 is Hero’s first scooter to get a liquid-cooled engine and will also be India’s first adventure maxi-scooter. It is powered by an all-new 156cc, liquid-cooled engine with silent starter and start-stop function. Other details include a dual chamber LED headlight, split LED taillights, keyless ignition feature with smart key and 14-inch wheels with MRF Kurve block-pattern tyres. Also, it gets a generous underseat storage with remote boot opening and a large windscreen as well. The Xoom 160 gets a telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers suspension setup while braking duties are taken care of by disc brake at both ends with ABS.

As mentioned earlier, the Hero Xoom 160 is expected to be launched in early 2025 and will likely be priced at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Its rivals will be Yamaha Aerox 155 and the Aprilia SXR 160.
