TVS Ntorq 150 - Introduction
The TVS Ntorq 125 has long been the go-to scooter for riders who want fun, style, and practicality in one package. But what happens when you add more power, extra features, and a funkier personality to an already popular machine? That’s exactly what the new Ntorq 150 sets out to answer, and I couldn’t wait to find out if it truly raises the game in the 150-175cc segment. In case you missed the launch, here’s a detailed story about the newest sporty scooter from TVS.

Design & Build Quality
TVS Ntorq 150: Design
The TVS Ntorq 150 makes no attempt to hide its sporty character, with sharp, angular styling that feels anything but ordinary in this segment. Up front, the Ntorq looks aggressive, led by sleek LED DRLs that give it a commanding presence. Complementing them are four LED projector lights, something which we’re seeing for the first time on a scooter, along with a naked handlebar that looks straight from a custom aftermarket shop. Put together, these elements lend the scooter a playful, energetic vibe that I think will resonate strongly with younger riders looking for something that breaks away from traditional scooter design.
The bodywork carries this athletic theme throughout: winglets on the apron, sharp creases and muscular lines throughout the scooter. Even the back end continues the drama, with a distinctive split-LED taillight shaped like a ‘T’ which looks absolutely radical and in my opinion, it's the best angle to look at the scooter from. Still, when I look at the overall styling, I can’t help but feel it’s a bit more extroverted than I personally prefer. A conventional, toned-down design would appeal more to me, though I see why the Ntorq 150’s boldness stands out and will appeal to some.

TVS Ntorq 150: Colours
The choice of colours available on the Ntorq 150 are quite radical to say the least. With 4 colour options through the range: Turbo Blue, Stealth Silver, Racing Red and Nitro Green. All of them will surely turn heads, considering how flashy they are. Be it the coloured wheels, the catchy TVS Ntorq 150 badging or the dual-tone finish on the scooters, the Ntorq 150 will and does stand out among the sea of scooters. I personally prefer more subtle tones on my scooters, so my pick would have to be Stealth Silver, which lends the lines of the scooter a unique look. The aforementioned Red, too, is a worthy contender for my taste.

TVS Ntorq 150: Build Quality
I was expecting more when it comes to the overall quality, especially given that this scooter carries the Ntorq badge. The side panels tend to flex, and the lower floorboard feels far too thin and flimsy for long-term confidence. Even the new winglets don't feel premium or high quality. The exposed handlebar is unusual for a scooter; it does look stylish, but the visible wiring makes it look unfinished. The switchgear is well done and feels premium, but beyond that, the fit and finish are only average at best. Overall, the quality does not feel like a step up from the smaller Ntorq, and that is a letdown.

Features & Practicality
TVS Ntorq 150: Convenience Features
TVS has left no stone unturned in making the Ntorq 150 one of the most feature-rich scooters in its class. At the centre of it all is a brand-new TFT instrument console with a neat and modern layout, reminiscent of the new KTM units. It provides all the essential information at a glance and even allows riders to customise widget options to suit their preferences. Navigating through the menus is quite straightforward, and the console offers multiple brightness levels along with dedicated day and night modes, ensuring clear visibility even under harsh sunlight.
The console itself is loaded with features such as ride telemetry, smartphone connectivity, Alexa voice assist, smartwatch compatibility, turn-by-turn navigation, and more. On top of that, the scooter offers two riding modes: Street and Race, each with a distinct throttle response.
Practicality has been given equal importance. The Ntorq 150 finally gets a multi-functional key slot, making refueling more convenient compared to its younger sibling.
TVS Ntorq 150: Safety Features
The Ntorq 150 gets all the safety features which one would ever need on a sporty scooter. The scooter comes with a front disc brake and single-channel ABS as standard. Both variants get traction control, which will prevent the rear wheel from slipping under acceleration on loose traction surfaces like wet or gravel roads. The top model allows you to switch it off as well. There’s also a side-stand engine cut-off for extra peace of mind. Another smart addition is the panic brake alert, which flashes the LED indicators to warn vehicles behind when you brake suddenly. If you want to know how these features might be useful to you, here’s a detailed features explainer of the brand new 150cc sporty scooter.

TVS Ntorq 150: Underseat Storage
For a sporty 150cc scooter, TVS has addressed the practicality aspect on the Ntorq 150. The 22-litre underseat storage is spacious enough to accommodate a half-face helmet or small bags and also comes equipped with a USB charger for added convenience. Up front, a 2-litre cubby hole in the apron provides extra room for essentials. That said, it would have been even better if TVS had gone the extra mile by offering a larger 33-litre underseat storage space like we see on its Jupiter range, which would have added a lot more practicality for everyday riders.

TVS Ntorq 150: Floorboard Space
The floorboard remains similar to the Ntorq 125 and is spacious enough to carry a bag or groceries with ease. Even taller riders should find the legroom comfortable for longer trips.

Comfort
TVS Ntorq 150: Rider Comfort
The TVS Ntorq 150 offers a neutral riding posture that balances comfort with sportiness. At 6 feet tall, I could easily flat-foot the scooter and found the handlebar placement to be well-judged, neither too far nor too close. Even while taking lock-to-lock turns, the handlebar didn’t clash with my legs. Knee room was adequate, making the overall riding triangle feel natural. However, riders below 5’5” may find it difficult to flat-foot, and those taller than 6’3” might feel slightly cramped.

TVS Ntorq 150: Pillion Comfort
For the pillion, comfort is broadly similar to the Ntorq 125. The seat is wide and supportive, but just about spacious enough for two adults. The pillion sits fairly close to the rider, which further limits space. The pillion footrests are positioned high, and for my 6-foot frame, the posture felt closer to a squat, though shorter riders won’t face this issue. That said, it is a place recommended only for short city commutes. On the plus side, the footrests now come with rubber inserts, which are a welcome addition.
Engine, Performance & Mileage
TVS Ntorq 150: Engine
The TVS Ntorq 150 runs on a 149.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with three valves. This motor is based on the Ntorq 125’s unit but is bigger and lighter to extract more performance. It produces 13.2 PS and 14.2 Nm.

TVS Ntorq 150: City Performance
The Ntorq 150 feels quick right from the get-go. Even though our ride was limited to a racetrack, the scooter displayed strong acceleration throughout, with impressive roll-on performance, going from 30 to 60 kmph in no time. This should make overtaking in city traffic effortless and give the Ntorq 150 the feel of being one of the quickest scooters on the road.
It comes equipped with two riding modes: Street, which keeps the throttle smooth and tones down the throttle response, and Race, which sharpens throttle response and delivers more power. TVS claims a 0-60 kmph sprint time of 6.3 seconds in Race mode. The engine feels peppy and eager to rev, yet remains refined for everyday use.
Adding to this is TVS’ hybrid (iGO assist) system, which provides an extra torque boost to improve acceleration. However, the hybrid assist is only active in Race mode, a slight downside, as it could have been useful in daily commuting too.

TVS Ntorq 150: Highway Performance
At higher speeds, the scooter feels at home. It can easily reach 80kmph and happily sits there without the engine feeling stressed. Even reaching an indicated 100kmph does not require a lot of tarmac; however, you might not want to stay there for a longer duration as the engine starts to feel stressed. The Ntorq is a brilliant highway scooter, and the performance will not feel lacking even at higher speeds.

TVS Ntorq 150: Mileage
The Ntorq 150 is expected to return around 38kmpl in the city and close to 35kmpl on highways. However, proper road tests will confirm the actual figures.
Handling & Ride Quality
TVS Ntorq 150: Handling
The scooter feels quick to change directions without much effort. This should make it fun in the city while filtering through traffic. The 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres (100/80 front and 110/80 rear) provide excellent grip, keeping the scooter stable and predictable whether leaning through bends or zipping around the city.

TVS Ntorq 150: Ride Quality
Since our first ride took place on TVS’ test facility with near-perfect tarmac, we’ll be able to comment on the NTorq 150’s ride quality in more detail only after a proper road test.

TVS Ntorq 150: Brakes
Braking is one area where the Ntorq has taken a step forward. The scooter offers sharp yet progressive stopping power, and the adjustable brake levers add to both comfort and usability. The levers provide good feedback, but extracting the maximum performance does require a fair bit of pressure on the lever. Even so, the scooter remains composed and stable under hard braking.

Verdict

We came into this review with high expectations from the TVS Ntorq 150, largely because it carries the famed Ntorq badge. On paper, it promised to be exciting and full of punch. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a quick, powerful scooter loaded with tech, and it handles beautifully. But it isn’t quite the Ntorq 150 we were hoping for.
Yes, it turns sharply, accelerates with ease, and offers plenty of features, but it doesn’t feel like the natural upgrade for someone already riding an Ntorq 125. From a 110cc scooter, it makes perfect sense; from the 125, not so much. And while design is always subjective, the styling feels polarising, something that may not appeal to everyone.
That said, the Ntorq 150 still stands as an appealing choice in the 150-175cc space. Few scooters combine this level of performance with everyday practicality, making it a unique option for riders who want a balance of fun and function.

Variants
The TVS Ntorq 150 is available in two trims: Base and TFT. The higher-spec TFT variant stands out with its full TFT instrument cluster, smartphone connectivity with ride telemetry data, and premium-feeling switchgear. In comparison, the Base variant combines a smaller TFT with a negative LCD console. It still offers useful features like call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, and music control, but misses out on ride telemetry and switchable traction control.
If advanced features aren’t a priority and you’d rather save some money, the Base variant remains a strong choice. It still gets traction control and covers the essentials, making it a good value for riders who want performance and practicality without stretching their budget.

Price Analysis
The Ntorq 150 is priced from Rs 1,19,000 for the standard variant and goes up to Rs 1,29,000 for the top-end TFT variant (all ex-showroom prices). In case you’re wondering, how much will the TVS Ntorq 150 cost on road, here’s a list of the on road prices of the scooter in top 5 cities of India.
Competition Check

The TVS Ntorq 150 goes up against rivals like the Hero Xoom 160, Yamaha Aerox 155, and Aprilia SR175. While it may not lead the pack in outright power, it makes a strong case for itself with the features it brings to the table. In fact, it’s the most feature-rich scooter in its class. To make your buying decision easier, here are top 5 differences between the TVS Ntorq 150 and the Yamaha Aerox 155.
Its slightly smaller engine should also give it an edge in terms of fuel efficiency, making it the more economical choice for daily use. Practicality is another big win for the Ntorq. It offers underseat storage, a genuinely usable floorboard, and better overall everyday convenience compared to its competitors.
To top it all off, it’s also the most affordable option in this segment. When you combine practicality, features, efficiency, and value, the Ntorq 150 stands out as a scooter well worth considering.

- best sporty scooter under 1.5 LakhsI have used ntorq 125 in the past and decided to upgrade to ntorq 150 because I liked the new design and TFT display, the performance is good and best thing is that this machine is very quick you won't be disappointed with it's performance. Ntorq 150 gives confidence and its stable at high speed, abs works fine, lights are great, TFT display looks good but it could be brighter and the boot space is quite small as no it does not fit a full size helmet. I would recommend this scooter If you want a some kind of compact sporty scooter with good mileage and features, yes you can go for it it won't disappoint you but TVS should have used 14 inches wheels and LC engine that's a huge bummer.Read More4 5
- Saved Up for the Race XPI wanted a scooter that did not feel slow. After riding my cousin’s Ntorq 150 on a short trip I was shocked by its power. It looked aggressive and felt like a sports bike but with scooter comfort. I loved the digital meter and sound. I saved up for 4 months and finally got the Race XP variant. It has been thrilling. The ride is smooth and fast. I take it to college, gym and even long night rides. It handles bumps well and feels stable on curves. The Bluetooth music control and navigation help me a lot. Definitely yes If someone wants a scooter that gives you power, features and fun this is the one. I tell everyone to test ride it once before choosing any other scooter. It is perfect for city rides and short weekend trips. Totally happy with my choice!Read More3
- Test Ride Changed My MindI did not plan to buy Ntorq 150 at all. I went to buy different scooter but the showroom guy insisted I try it once. The power shocked me. It was not even my budget but I stretched it and I am so glad I did. You know something’s right when it makes you change your plan in 10 minutes. Feels powerful yet smooth. The controls respond quickly and I have never felt unsafe even in bad weather. It is been 1 year now and I still enjoy it every day. I even gifted a ride to my dad once and he said it felt like a plane on wheels. That moment made me proud of my choice. Yes, yes, yes. Sometimes we plan one thing but the destiny puts better options in front of us. That is what this scooter was for me. Great features, performance and surprisingly good mileage too. Everyone should test ride it once that is all it takes.Read More1 7
- Bike Feel, Parent ApprovedI always wanted bike but my parents were against it. So I looked for a scooter that felt close to one. Ntorq 150 had the sporty design, speed and tech I wanted. My parents liked the safety and balance it offered. So we met halfway. The day I got it I rode for 4 hours straight without getting tired. It feels like my first real ride. Even simple rides to class or coaching centers feel fun. The pickup is so good that I can zoom past traffic lights easily. My friends always ask for a ride. I even added some decals to give it my own look. It’s not just a scooter, it’s part of me now. Yes and especially for young riders like me. It is safer than a bike but still exciting. You would not feel bored or slow on it. It is reliable for family but cool enough for college too. Everyone who sees it once remembers it. That says a lot about how special it is.Read More1 1
- Friend’s Trip, My Turn NextMy friend borrowed scooter for a road trip and it happened to be the Ntorq. He came back and said it was the most fun ride he had. That stuck with me. A few months later I decided to upgrade and tried it myself. He was right it didn not feel like regular scooter at all. I have used it for everything going to the gym, office and weekend runs. The scooter performs in every condition. It is fast when needed but also calm when you are in no rush. The seat is wide and comfy and the headlight is powerful at night. It makes every ride feel premium. For sure. I suggest it to anyone who enjoys the ride not just the destination. It is built for the fun but also practical. You will feel like you are riding something more than just the scooter. The power, style and comfort are all packed in perfectly.Read More1 2
- Joined the Club, Got the NtorqI joined a two wheeler club and noticed many members had the Ntorq. That got me curious. I did not want a bike because of the gear hassle so this seemed perfect. I watched reviews online and most riders were happy. I went for the yellow Super Squad edition because I am a big Marvel fan. The scooter feels alive. When I am riding with my club, I do not feel left behind. It keeps up well even with bigger bikes. The digital display shows trip stats and the look always gets compliments. It is also easy to wash and maintain. A great weekend partner and also good for daily use. Yes this scooter changed how I feel about commuting. It is not just about travel it is fun and engaging. If you do not want full bike but still want style this is perfect. Even during club rides no one believes it is just a 150cc scooter.Read More2
- Perfect for Delivery WorkI deliver groceries for work and I needed a scooter that can carry weight but still run fast. I checked many models but most felt slow or did not have enough space. Then I tried the Ntorq 150 and it was a totally different feel. Quick pickup, great handling and still space for my delivery bag. It is made my job easier. I can go from order to order without wasting time. It handles potholes and speed breakers well. Even when it is loaded with stuff the power does not drop. I like how the brakes respond fast which is important for someone riding all day in city traffic. Yes especially for delivery people or anyone riding all day. It is strong, stylish and does not give engine trouble. Also the service cost is not high. You can do work and still enjoy the ride. Best part people often think I ride it for fun, not workRead More
- Right Choice for My SonMy son studies in another city and needed something fast but not too bulky. We checked few scooters but the Ntorq 150 stood out because of the power and features. He liked the aggressive style and I liked the safety and balance. Also the underseat space and charging point made it more practical. He calls me every few days telling me how good it is. Says it feels like scooter with a soul. It handles rainy roads well and does not wobble. He is even taken it for group rides on weekends. It is been 8 months and he still sends photos of it when it is parked outside college. I would recommend it to other parents. It is safe, not too expensive and offers so many helpful features. Young riders will enjoy the speed and style, while parents can relax knowing it is a solid, trustworthy brand. No major complaints from our side at all.Read More
