Hero Destini 110 Overview 

The Hero Destini 110 is a stylish looking 110cc family scooter which comes with a powerful and fuel efficient motor, offers decent practical and some usable set of features.

Hero Destini 110 Price 

The  base VX variant is priced at Rs 72,000 and the top-spec ZX variant priced at Rs 79,000 (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). The top ZX variant gets a front disc brake setup and a pillion packrest, while the VX variant does not.

Hero Destini 110 Colour Options 

The Hero Destini 110 is available in 5 exciting colour options: Nexus Blue, Aqua Grey, Groovy Red, Matte Steel Grey, and Eternal White. Amongst these colours, our personal favourite is the Groovy Red, which gives the Destini 110 a vivid and fun vibe.

Hero Destini 110 Variants 

The Hero Destini 110 is available in two variants: the base VX variant which misses out on a front disc brake setup and a pillion backrest, while the top-spec ZX variant gets all these features. With just two variants – the choice is simplified. If you are really tight on the budget, there’s the base variant, but if you don’t mind spending the extra money, go for the top variant. 

Hero Destini 110 Design 

The Hero Destini 110 gets a similar design as the bigger Destini 125, but misses out on the dual tone paint scheme. The scooter gets sort of a neo-retro design with smooth lines. From the front, the scooter looks modern yet conventional and the design is still quite likeable, however the rear end looks busy and some people may not like it as much as the front. Other than this, the 5 five striking colour options go quite well with the overall design of this 110cc family scooter. 

Hero Destini 110 Engine 

The Hero Destini 110 comes with a 110cc single-cylinder engine that makes 8.08PS at 7,250rpm and 8.87Nm at 5,750rpm. It gets a CVT transmission and Hero claims a mileage of 56.2kmpl for the Destini 110. Those are pretty decent numbers for a family scooter and should make it good for everyday purposes. While it's not meant for an exciting ride, it should be easy enough for almost all family members  to use. 

Hero Destini 110 Chassis, Suspension And Brakes 

The Hero Destini 110 gets a steel tube frame along with conventional telescopic fork and a rear monoshock. The base VX variant gets drum brakes at both ends while the top-spec ZX variant comes with a front disc and rear drum brake setup. Combined braking system is common for both variants. The scooter runs on 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends, with a 90-section front and a 100-section rear tyre. At 114kg (kerb) it is slightly heavier than its competition but is still expected to be quite manageable. It has a seat height of 770mm and the ground clearance is 162mm. With a fuel tank capacity of 5.3 litres, the Destini 110 can have a range of more than 200km  (as per the  claimed mileage of 56.2kmpl). If your daily riding is about 20km, you will need to refuel every 10 days with that range. That should mean a monthly fuel cost of about Rs 1,400. 

Hero Destini 110 Features 

The Hero Destini 110 gets a LED projector headlight, DRLs and tail light, but gets a basic digi-analogue instrument cluster which misses out on smartphone connectivity. In the top-spec ZX variant Hero has given a pillion backrest and the scooter gets a rather small 19-litre underseat storage. While the storage is low, it might have been done to keep the scooter slim. That would make it easier for people to handle the scooter in tight spaces like parking lots or traffic jams. 

Hero Destini 110 Competition 

The Hero Destini 110 competes with the Honda Activa and TVS Jupiter. Amongst which the Jupiter stands as the most practical scooter, while the Activa is the most tech-loaded. All the scooters here are pretty sorted family-oriented scooters. The Activa has almost a cult following and looks rather simple, which a lot of people prefer. The Destini looks more stylish, while the Jupiter offers a bit of excitement.
