Harley-Davidson launched its robust cruiser bike - Dyna in two models namely Street Bob and Fat Bob. Street Bob was introduced last year in the country and was equipped with high glide handlebars, fuel tank mounted matte black cluster and retro styled wheels that enhance its appearance. This bike comes powered by a 1,585cc, air-cooled, Twin Cam 96 engine that comes linked to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The bike has a neatly chiseled huge fuel tank with 17.8-liter capacity. The 100/90-B19 57H front tyre houses 4-piston fixed brake and the 160/70-B17 73V rear tyre is equipped to a 2-piston torque free floating brake that keeps the riding experience pleasant. The handling of the bike may be a little tricky due to high tail handlebars and heavyweight but once the rider gets comfortable, there is no destination too far away. The ride is comfortable and rewarding and will make you want to decide the next destination as soon you reach the first one. Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob is a piece of elegance with subtle design to attract people. The bike has a disc-shaped headlamp unit that perfectly goes with its overall design. Stainless steel and mini ape hanger handlebars are used in the bike that give a stress-free riding posture. The rear view mirrors and side indicators are mounted on the handlebars, which reminds of a classic cruiser. The instrument cluster is embedded on the muscular fuel tank and display an analogue speedometer, an odometer, time-of-day clock, an rpm/gear display, a dual trip meter, a fuel gauge and other tell tales. The altered rear fender, fat rear tyre, dual exhaust pipes and spoke wheels make it a better option for the customizers to put their hands on. The bullet shaped rear indicators and tail lamps find their place on the rear fender with a light reflector. The detailing of the motorcycle is done meticulously that reflects the genuine H-D styling.
The length of the bike is 2395mm that is noted along with a wheelbase of 1630mm and the minimum ground clearance of 110mm. The bike has all the elements that provide sound handling and better stability to the ride. The presence of single saddle seat having the seat height of 675mm makes the journey comfortable for the rider. The bike comes in two dynamic shades - Superior Blue and Black Denim.
The Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob is powered by a 1585cc, air-cooled, Twin Cam 96 engine that is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The engine churns out a maximum torque of 124Nm at 3250rpm. The bike uses an electronic sequential port fuel injection (ESPFI) system and returns a combined mileage of 14.85kmpl that performs along a fuel tank capacity of 17.8 litres.
The front and the rear end is fitted with a 100/90-B19 57H and 160/70-B17 73V tyre respectively providing good grip on the road. A 4-piston fixed front brake and a 2-piston torque free floating rear brake is assisted by ABS (anti-lock braking system) technology. The bike comes with a suspension that can be adjusted according to your riding style and provides a laid back riding posture for long distance riding.
The bike has wide tyres and ABS-assisted disc brakes at both ends that provide safety to the rider. The smart security system has a hands-free fob that automatically arms and disarms the electronic security functions of the bike as one move towards and away from it. Warning lights for neutral, low fuel, low oil pressure and 6-speed indication keep the rider updated about the bike. The presence of high beam and turn signals make the riding safe and easy on highways.
