Hero Lectro F3i

The Hero Lectro F3i is claimed to be India's first electric MTB (Mountain Terrain Bike). It is a rugged all-electric bicycle with off-road spec tyres and solid construction. The F3i pairs the conventional MTB design with a new-age electric powertrain to offer the best of both worlds.

Hero Lectro F3i Key Features

Featuring an old-school MTB design with a triangular frame, the Hero Lectro F3i has its battery incorporated within the frame downtube, and is removable. The e-cycle gets a LED headlight, 7-speed gears with thumb shifter, PVC rubberised throttle grip, along with an on/off switch.  

Hero Lectro F3i Engine

The Hero Lectro F3i is powered by a 0. 25kW hub motor. Its top speed is just below the 25kmph mark. The Hero Lectro F3i also comes with a 7-speed gear with a thumb shifter for varying riding speeds depending on the riding preference.

Within its main frame, the Hero Lectro F3i has a 6. 36Ah lithium-ion battery, which claims a maximum riding range of 30-35km in the pedelec (using pedals with electric assist) mode and a 25-28km range in the throttle mode (pure-electric mode). This battery requires 4-5 hours for a full charge.

The Hero Lectro F3i gets a telescopic fork with 100mm wheel travel. The Hero Lectro F3i rides on 29-inch alloy spoke rims with tubed block pattern tyres. The brakes on offer are 160mm mechanical discs for both wheels.
