Pune-based EMotorad launched its flagship e-bike, the EMX, in November 2020. Currently priced at Rs 54,999, the EMX is the first e-bike in the Indian market to come with dual suspension (front & rear). The EMotorad EMX is priced at Rs 54,999. The brand is also offering the bike on EMI, starting from Rs 2,499 per month.
EMotorad EMX Features:
The e-bike is equipped with an LED headlight, a horn, and an LCD console that displays information like odometer, trip meter, pedal-assist levels, available range, ride time, battery charge indicator, the voltage generated, and time. The battery pack also comes with an inbuilt LED charge indicator and a quick-release mechanism for convenient charging.
EMotorad EMX Motor, Range & Drivetrain:
The EMotorad EMX is equipped with a 250W BLDC hub motor, capable of generating a top speed of 25kmph. The engine is paired with a 10Ah battery that promises a range of 45km. It comes with 21-speed Shimano Tourney twin derailleurs.
EMotorad EMX Suspension & Brakes:
EMotorad’s flagship e-bike comes with Suntour forks up front with preload adjustability and a lockout function. Suspension duties are handled by a monoshock at the rear, which provides a lock function too for riding on the tarmac. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends with ceramic braking pads for better stopping power.
EMotorad EMX Rivals:
At the moment, the EMotorad e-bike is unrivalled. However, the Hero Lectro F6i, priced at Rs 49,000, comes close to the EMX.
