About Matter Aera
If you’re looking to buy an electric motorcycle, the Matter Aera from Matter is one of the options. It is sold in 2 variants. Powering the Aera is a 10000W electric motor. The battery capacity of the Matter Aera 5000+ is 5. The Aera comes with a Disc brake up front and Disc brake at the rear. You can buy the Matter Aera in 5 colours - Cosmic Black, Nord Grey, Blaze Red, Cosmic Blue, Glacier White.

Matter Aera 5000 Price
The Aera 5000 has been priced at Rs. 1,43,999 for the Aera 5000 and Rs 1,53,999 for the Aera 5000+, both prices ex-showroom including FAME II subsidy. Prices for the Aera 4000 and 6000+ will be announced later.
Matter Aera 5000 Features
The Matter Aera 5000 is loaded to the brim with amenities like 4G connectivity, keyless operation, a seven-inch LCD touchscreen display with onboard navigation, and a nine-axis IMU. The bike gets LED lighting throughout, including a bifunctional led projector. Comprehensive connective features like accident detection and auto-reply to calls while riding are also available. Its specialised smartphone app enables the owner to keep track of statistics including charge level, position, and ride analysis.
Matter Aera 5000 Powertrain
The Aera 5000’s IP65-rated 10.5kW, liquid-cooled, mid-mounted motor and Matter claims an impressive 520Nm at the wheel. The e-motorcycle gets a 5kWh battery pack which is liquid-cooled. It can provide a claimed range of 125km to 150km depending upon the variant chosen. It’ll support both standard and fast-charging via a common connector and is equipped with a standard on-board 1kW charger. Charging can also be done using a standard bedroom 5A, three-pin plug point. Using the on-board charger, it can be charged in less than five hours.
Matter Aera 5000 Suspension & Brakes
The bike is suspended on a telescopic fork along with dual gas-charged shocks. Braking duties have been entrusted to discs with the added safety net of dual-channel ABS on both ends.
