The Scottish actor was seen riding one in the trailer of his latest movie, Kandahar

Scottish actor Gerard Butler is seen putting a KTM 390 Adventure through its paces in the trailer of his upcoming movie, Kandahar. Butler’s identity as an undercover CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) operative is exposed, and he rides KTM’s baby ADV through some streets in the desert city of Kandahar in an effort to fight his way out.

The 390 Adventure is fast and agile with plenty of suspension travel, making it quite the perfect tool for an escapade. Something though, we are sure, Gerard would’ve appreciated even more in his effort to escape from the bad guys is a set of spoke wheels. They would put his mind at peace as spokes are designed to flex and handle impacts to a certain degree, letting you tackle rough terrains with ease.

Upcoming KTM 390 Duke Spied In Near-production Avatar

Further into the trailer you can see that the bike shown is the alloy-wheeled variant and not the latest, spoke-wheeled one that KTM launched earlier this month. Given that riding through our roads isn’t very different from what’s seen in the trailer, us Indians could really do with a spoke-wheeled 390 Adventure too.

Gerard, a certified motorcycle enthusiast, has completed trips through India, Indonesia and in the USA. The Hollywood hunk previously rode a 2010, black custom-built chopper in 2011 film Machine Gun Preacher. This chopper was then sold off in an auction on eBay Motors, with all proceeds going to American author Sam Childers' charity, Angels of East Africa. You truly meet the nicest people on motorcycles, eh?
