BREAKING: Yamaha Aerox 155 Version S With Smart Key Launched
The smart key brings a bunch of new features to the Aerox
Yamaha has launched a new variant of the Yamaha Aerox 155. The new variant is called the Aerox version S and it comes with a smart key and a lot more features. The scooter comes at an ex-showroom Delhi price of Rs 1,50,600 a small premium of Rs 3300 over the standard variant. It is offered in two colours: Silver and Racing Blue.
The main highlight of this new version is the smart key, which brings a lot more features to the table. First of which is the proximity unlock that makes starting the scooter a seamless experience as riders won’t have to use a manual key or deal with the hassle that comes with it. Along with this Yamaha has also given an immobiliser that locks the scooter once the smart key is out of range, ensuring better safety.
Lastly, there’s the call back feature. With a push of the button, the scooters blinkers will blink and a buzzing sound will be emitted making it easy to locate your scooter if it's parked in a crowded location.

Other than the addition of these new features, the Aerox 155 S remains unchanged in terms of performance. The scooter is still powered by the same 155cc liquid-cooled engine that produces 15PS at 8000rpm and 13.9Nm at 6500rpm. The engine is paired with an automatic transmission.
In terms of rivals, the Aerox 155 goes up against the Aprilia SXR 160 and the upcoming Hero Xoom 160.

- Good scooty with lots of flaws to be correctedBecause of its performance. It looks good. It has a good pickup and the balance is also very good. The agility is also decent. And the engine is super refined. And it stands out in its competition easily. I have a mixed experience with this bike. The battery got dead in just 6000 km. I had to replace the battery. The issue with the rear rim was the worst. The socket in which the rim fits it got loose and when i went to the service centre, they didn't come up with the solution. The front suspension is so hard that you can't even take small pots on the road. And the fit and finish can be much better. The rear break is week. If the road condition is very good and millage is not an issue and someone who wants a scooter which can deliver power and has a good road presence can consider it. And the feel when you ride this giant scooter on road everyone see this like how a scooter looks like this muscular. Ride is comfortable and smooth braking system. And specially the disc is so much good that you just put your fingers on the brake and it stop immediately. And the comfortness of the back rider is also good. Yes who need a muscular body type scooty obviously go for it blind foldy. You get a smooth experience when your ride it on road. - yamaha aerox 155 Reviewi choose this bike because it looked good , i specifically liked the red and black combo , the red wheels looks amazing and i liked the styling of the scooter, mileage was also amazing like other scooters. The ride is amazing i have went many places in this scooter with my friend and we have yet not faced any major issue during the ride we took it off road to jungle road also but everything was fine specifically the suspensions better as compared to other scooters in market . i think students should buy this its a little rough and tough it looks good has a good pickup has a decent storage space and finally gives a good milage and it does not make any loud sounds during the start so you can easily take it out for night outs.Read More12 10
