Yamaha R3 New Colour Launched Abroad
This new shade looks quite striking, but it's only for Japan right now
Yamaha has launched a new colour option for the R3 in Japan, and it’s called Pale Bluish Green Solid 2. It’s a very eye-catching shade that gives the bike a fresh and striking look. The soft green tone, combined with sporty red and black graphics, goes really well with the R3’s sharp design and aggressive styling. Overall, it makes the bike look more lively and fun.
Along with this new colour, the R3 is also available in three other options: Racing Blue, Racing Black, and a 70th Anniversary Edition. So buyers have more choices depending on their taste. But honestly, this new green shade easily stands out the most.
Same engine and hardware
Other than the new colour option, there are no mechanical changes done to the bike. The Yamaha R3 still comes with a 321cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that makes 42PS and 29.5Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine is known for being smooth and rev-friendly, which makes the bike enjoyable to ride.
The Yamaha R3 is built on a lightweight frame and gets an inverted fork and a rear monoshock, which give this bike great handling and stability. It also comes with disc brakes on both ends with dual-channel ABS for safety.
What about India?
While Japan is getting these cool updates from Yamaha, India still gets the older version of the R3 with limited colour options. Seeing how good this new version looks, we really hope Yamaha brings it to India soon.
