2027 Triumph Tiger 1200 Range Launched In India At Rs 20.99 Lakh
The adventure tourer gets better with the 2027 updates

Triumph has launched its updated flagship tourer, the 2027 Tiger 1200, in India. It comes in two variants: GT Pro and Rally Explorer, priced at Rs 20.99 lakh and Rs 23.49 lakh, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi. Here is everything you need to know about the all-new adventure bike:
Same Engine But More Horses

The bike continues to use the 1,160 cc, liquid-cooled, three-cylinder engine. But Triumph has worked on the internals and the gearing of the motorcycle, to make it more powerful. The motor makes 158 PS at 9,250 rpm, which is 8 PS more than the previous. However, the torque output remains the same at 130 Nm.
Updated Hardware & Underpinnings

The adventure bike gets a revised chassis and rolls on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. The bike is suspended on semi-active Showa EERA Heightflex units and gets 200 mm of travel at both ends.

Braking hardware includes twin discs at the front with Brembo Stylema callipers and a single disc at the rear.

The bike is much more accessible with the automatic ride-height adjustment function, which lowers the seat height by 30 mm while coming to a stop. Making it easy to manoeuvre in tight spaces. Also, you can reduce the seat height further to 790 mm with the two-position seat adjustment and the new low seat accessory.
Gets More Smarter & Feature-Packed

It gets a 7-inch touch-enabled TFT console with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It gets a new waterproof phone compartment on top of the fuel tank, with airflow channels that should help to cool your smartphone. Additionally, there is Type-C charger to charge your devices on the go.

It gets a Bosch radar-based system, which enables features such as blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and emergency brake assist. Other safety features include cornering ABS and traction control.

Also, it gets a bidirectional quickshifter, which enables clutchless upshifts and downshifts.
GT Pro vs Rally Explorer

The GT Pro is more of a grand tourer, which gets a road-biased set of alloy wheels. With a 20-litre fuel tank. On the other hand, the Rally Explorer stays true to its name and gets more off-road biased wheels. It gets a tubeless spoke-wheel setup, with a 30-litre fuel tank, which should give a good range and should come in handy during long rides and require fewer fuel stops. Also, the Rally Explorer gets additional ride modes, TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring system) and engine protection as standard.
The GT Pro weighs 250 kg (kerb), while the Rally Explores is 18 kg heavier at 268 kg.
BikeDekho says
The Tiger 1200, with these additional features and suspension updates, makes a good proposition for buyers looking to buy a big adventure tourer. Also, the bike caters to different sets of audiences with the road-biased variant, GT Pro, and an off-road hardware-equipped Rally explorer. Where the buyer can select the variant according to their use case. The GT Pro and the Rally Explorer will be available in India from March 2027.
