Bikes And Scooters Launched In India In April 2024
Everything from ADVs to a high performance electric bike, April 2024 was quite exciting!
April 2024 was quite an exciting month and we got to see many new launches, including updates to existing models. If you missed out on the news, this list of bikes and scooters launched in April will get you up to speed. Here’s everything we saw:
KTM 250 Duke New Colour Launched
KTM India launched a new colour for the KTM 250 Duke called ‘Atlantic Blue’. The new colour looks quite similar to the Atlantic Blue colour scheme that we have seen on the KTM 390 Duke, but comes with a few changes that make it stand out.
Ather Rizta Launched
Ather Energy launched their first family oriented electric scooter, the Ather Rizta. The new electric scooter comes with many features and accessories and its prices start from Rs 1,09,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru including EMPS). Check out our launch story here to know the differences.

Yamaha New Colours And Aerox Version S Launched
This month, Yamaha brought some interesting updates. The first of which was bringing new colours to the Yamaha MT-15 V2, Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid and the Yamaha RayZR Fi hybrid. The new colours look absolutely stunning.
Later, we also got to see a new variant of the Yamaha Aerox 155 being launched. The new variant is called the Aerox 155 Version S and it comes with a bunch of new features such as a smart key and related features that improve the scooter’s security. Here are the details.
2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 Launched And Pulsar Lineup Updated
Bajaj launched the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 and now the bike comes with a lot of changes and brand new features. For starters the bike now comes with a new inverted fork, which does look quite premium. Along with this, Bajaj has also given the bike a digital instrument which has brought a lot of new features. Other than this, the bike now comes with ABS modes and even a traction control system. The launch of the Pulsar N250 was a welcome addition, but Bajaj also had a lot more in store for us. First, we saw the original Pulsar 150 being updated with the same digital instrument console that we had recently seen on the Pulsar N150 and Pulsar N160. The console brings many new features including smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and more. With the addition of this new console the Pulsar 150 now comes at a small premium, read all the details here in our exclusive story.
Later in the month, we got to see the recently updated Bajaj Pulsar N160, being updated once again but this time with an inverted fork. The bike has now hit dealerships but comes at a substantial premium. Here’s our exclusive story on the same.
Lastly, Bajaj also updated the iconic Bajaj Pulsar 220F with the new digital instrument console. We at BikeDekho don’t think this addition was necessary and here’s why.
2024 Jawa Perak And 2024 Jawa Bobber Launched
Jawa launched the 2024 Jawa Perak and 2024 Jawa 42 Bobber. The Perak now comes with a few changes and updates, including the addition of a new dual tone colour scheme. The 42 Bobber on the other hand now comes with 2 new variants with diamond cut alloy wheels. Here’s everything you need to know.
Later, Jawa revealed a lot of new details about the changes they made to the bike. The focus has been mostly set to altering the mechanical bits on the engine to enhance the refinement and reduce noise and harshness of the engine.
Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition Launched
Suzuki has finally launched the Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition in India and it comes at apremium of 80,000 over the base variant, bringing the price to Rs 17,70,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
This limited edition comes with many interesting design bits and changes that are meant to pay homage to the Hayabusa legacy. Here’s what makes it stand apart from the base variant.
Aprilia RS 660, Tuareg 660, Tuono 660 And RSV4 Factory Launched
Aprilia relaunched the 2024 Aprilia RS 660, Aprilia Tuono 660, and the Aprilia RSV4 Factory in India and introducedtheTuareg 660. The bikes have quite a bit to offer in terms of performance and features but the prices are just ridiculous.
Later, the manufacturer also revealed the prices of the Aprilia RS 457’s accessories and the pricing is equally insane, with the external bike cover itself costing Rs 16,875!
Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 Launched
Ultraviolette launched the new and improved Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2. Compared to the older F77 the new bike comes with a lot of improvements in terms of performance, range and features! Now the bike gets a traction control system, 10-levels of regenerative braking and a lot more. All of that comes at a very attractive introductory price.
Triumph Tiger 900 Range Launched
Triumph launched the 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 range in India. The range includes 2 models: The Tiger 900 GT and the Tiger 900 Rally Pro. The GT Comes at a price of Rs 13,95,000 and the Rally Pro costs Rs 15,95,000 (both ex-showroom).
Both bikes are powered by a 888cc liquid-cooled, inline 3-cylinder engine which produces 108PS and 90Nm. The GT is the more road focused bike and rolls on a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheel setup, whereas the Rally Pro comes with a 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheel setup.
Kawasaki Versys 650 Launched
Kawasaki launched the 2024 Kawasaki Versys 650 in India at a price of Rs 7,70,000 (ex-showroom). There haven't been many changes made to the bike other than the addition of 2 new colours: Metallic Matte Dark Grey / Ebony and Metallic Flat Spark Black / Candy Lime Green. The bike is still powered by the same 649cc liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine that produces 67PS and 61Nm.
Ampere Nexus Launched
Ampere has finally launched their latest electric scooter, the Ampere Nexus. It is offered in 2 variants, the Ampere Nexus EX and the Ampere Nexus ST. The EX variant comes at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 1,09,000, whereas the ST variant costs Rs 1,19,000. For specifications and booking details, check out our launch story here.

- reliable daily commuter with great mileageNeeded something dependable for daily city traffic that wouldn't eat up all petrol money. looked at a few other 150cc options but the pulsar 150 just felt like the right balance of price, low maintenance and that classic muscular look that never gets old. Honestly pretty smooth for daily running, engine has nice pickup in lower gears so overtaking in heavy trafffic is easy, getting a solid 45-50 km regularly, only slight downside is minor handle vibes past 85 kmph but for everyday city speeds, its steady and comfortable. Definitely 100 percent recommend it, if you want a reliable everyday bike with decent power and great fuel efficiency, maintenance is super cheap and spare parts are available anywhere. just a solid, no nonsense daily runner that gets the job done.Read More

- Pulsar N250 - Amazing MachineI chose this bike for it's looks, easy spare parts availability and uniqueness on roads. This is one of the cheapest 250cc out there. It provides almost all the modern technologies like riding modes, Dual-channel ABS, Traction control, Bluetooth navigation, etc. I liked the seating posture and seat height it is very accessible to all types of riders. I like bikes having good low-end torque for effortless city riding and this machine has very good low to mid range torque so these are the reasons I chose this beautiful machine. The overall ride quality is very good. The suspension is not that stiff and you will definitely feel the adrenaline rush due to it's power. This is a very good city machine as well as capable on highways. On highways you can easily cruise at 80-100 km/h without much stress on the engine. I must say that the engine is very refined and smooth.The pickup is great and it has very good midrange performance. I am getting mileage of around 38 km/l which is decent for a 250cc. You can get mileage of 45 on highways if you cruise at a constant speed. The stability of this bike at speeds of 90-100 is decent but I am not sure about the high stability post 120 km/h. You feel the absence of a 6th gear on highways sometimes but the bike manages the gear ratios pretty well. Overall I'll say this bike has got a very punchy and refined engine. The braking is very good and the front brake response is very satisfying you will feel confident while riding this machine. The exhaust sound is very bassy and head-turning. People will definitely notice you. The pillion seat and rear suspension is a bit on stiffer side but it is good for cities. One thing I must mention is it's class-leading led projector headlights.The throw is very amazing and you will feel confidence on highways.No other bike in this segment provides such powerful headlights. So let's come to conclusion Will I recommend this bike I would say if you love bike having great low and mid range torque refined engine then you should definitely go for N250.But if you want a better highway machine having liquid looked technology and better high speed stability then you can look at NS200. Overall both the bikes have their own pros and cons and it all depends on what kind of rider you are and what you want. At last I would say you can buy N250 it will not disappoint.
