Aprilia Tuareg 660

The Tuareg 660 is Aprilia’s middleweight ADV offering and the bike was launched in India recently.

Price

Tuareg 660 starts at a price of Rs 18,85,000 for the Atreides Black and Canyon Sand colours, while the Dakar Podium colour comes at a price of Rs 19,16,000. All prices are ex-showroom.  

Engine, Mileage and Performance

The Tuono 660 is powered by a 659cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine that produces 80PS at 9,250rpm and 70Nm at 6500rpm.

Suspension, Brakes and Other Details 

The bike is quite different from the others and features a fully-adjustable Kayaba 43mm inverted fork at the front with 240mm wheel travel. In the rear, the bike has a fully-adjustable Kayaba monoshock with 240 mm wheel travel.  

The bike rolls on a 21 inch spoke wheel at front and 18 inch spoke wheel in the rear. Braking is handled by two 300 mm floating discs at front with Brembo floating callipers with 4 pistons. In the rear the bike has a 260 mm disc with Brembo single piston calliper.

Features

The Tuareg 660 comes with a 5-inch TFT display and features traction control, engine braking control, and cruise control. The bike also comes with switchable ABS that can be turned off completely. Other than this, the bike gets turn-by-turn navigation if customers opt for the Aprilia MIA accessory which is a device that enables smartphone connectivity.

The Tuareg goes up against the Kawasaki Versys 650, Triumph Tiger Sport 660, Honda XL 750 Transalp and the Moto Morini X-Cape 650-X.
