Overview
The Aprilia RS 660 is an Italian middleweight sportsbike in India. It looks quite similar to the Aprilia RSV4.
Aprilia RS 660 Price
The 2025 Aprilia RS 660 is priced at Rs 17,74,000 (ex-showroom).
Aprilia RS 660 Colour Options
The supersport is sold in two colours: Blue Marlin, and Venom Yellow.
Aprilia RS 660 Variants
The Aprilia RS 660 is available in only one variant.

Aprilia RS 660 Design
The RS 660 shares its design with the RSV4. It gets twin-pod headlights, with aerodynamic winglets under it. The bodywork looks quite sharp. The 660 has a stubby underbelly exhaust which is neatly integrated with the underbelly panels. The tail has an aggressive, tapering look as well, which goes quite well with the supersport character of the bike. The tank has a proportionate styling, adding to the visual appeal.

Aprilia RS 660 Engine
The supersport is powered by a 659cc parallel-twin engine that makes 105PS and 70Nm. It’s mated to a 6-speed gearbox that has a slipper clutch. The engine is derived from the front two cylinders from the RSV4’s 1099cc V4 engine. The RS660 sounds quite good even in stock setup because of the engine configuration.

Aprilia RS 660 Features
The RS 660 has a 5-inch TFT console with backlit switch buttons that are easy to use in poor lighting conditions. The bike has all-LED lights. The biggest highlight of the bike is its extensive electronic riding aids kit. It has a 6-axis inertial measurement unit that helps the bike’s computer know the bike’s position. It helps with the cornering ABS (which has 3 modes), stoppie control, wheelie control, and traction control. The bike also has 5 riding modes, launch control, cruise control, and a bidirectional quickshifter.

Aprilia RS 660 Chassis, Brakes, Wheels, Suspension
The Aprilia RS 660 has a twin-spar aluminum frame. The bike has a 41mm Kayaba inverted fork with rebound and preload adjustability, and 120mm wheel travel. The Kayaba monoshock is rebound and preload adjustable as well, and gives the rear wheel 130mm of travel. The bike has 320mm dual front discs and a 220mm rear disc, both with Brembo calipers. It has 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. Other equipment includes a 1 5-litre fuel tank, a seat height of 820mm, and 183kg kerb weight. Aprilia India has not officially listed its ground clearance, but it should be sufficient for track riding.

Aprilia RS 660 Competition
The Aprilia RS 660 goes up against the bikes like Ducati Panigale V2, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, and Triumph Daytona 660. The Daytona is the cheapest of these, while the Panigale is the most expensive. The ZX-6R sits between the RS 660 and the Daytona.
Pros & Cons
Good Things
- The kerb weight of 183kg is significantly lighter compared to rivals
- The 100PS peak power output is greater than the closest rivals
- The aggressive design looks properly Italian and premium
Could Be Better
- Pricing is too high compared to rivals, as it is almost as expensive as a litre-class bike
- Lack of widespread service networks makes repair and maintenance difficult

- Aprilia RS 660The bike is great. But priced too high for indian market. Could have made more affordable IMO. Hope to see more middleweight bikes in indian market.
- Decent BikeWhile it's a decent bike, it doesn't stand out as the best, especially considering the variety of options available in this price range that offer superior comfort. In my opinion, some drawbacks of this bike include its weight. It's considerably heavy, which might pose challenges, especially for beginners or those transitioning from lighter bikes. Maneuvering it in city areas can be quite challenging.Read More4
- Best Bike For RacingThere are a few compromises, most noticeably the shock, but overall it delivers a lovely balance of performance and handling that makes it fun. Owning an RS660 won't feel like a downward step. You have chosen to own a smaller-capacity sports bike and you can hold your head up high at any bike meet.Read More1
