Triumph Daytona 660

Triumph Daytona 660 is a motorcycle with a starting price of Rs 9.20 Lakh. It is available in India in 1 variant and 3 colours with high end variant price starting from Rs 9.20 Lakh. Daytona 660 is powered by a 660 ccbs6-2.0 engine which develops a power of 95 PS and a torque of 69 Nm. It has Disc front brakes and Disc rear brakes. The weight of Triumph Daytona 660 is 201 kg and comes with a fuel tank capacity of 14 L.

The Triumph Daytona 660 has been launched in the UK and it is based on the same 660cc triple platform as the Trident 660 and the Tiger Sport 660. 

The Daytona 660 is powered by a 660cc liquid-cooled in-line 3-cylinder engine that produces 95PS at 11,250rpm and 69Nm at 8,250rpm, which is 15PS more power and 5Nm more torque output than the Trident 660. It comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch. The bike gets a suspension setup of a 41mm Showa upside-down (USD) fork with 110mm wheel travel and a Showa monoshock with 130mm wheel travel. Braking duties are taken care of by twin 310mm front disc brakes with 4-piston radial callipers and a single 220mm disc with a single-piston sliding caliper at the rear. It gets an underbelly exhaust, tall clip-on handlebars and a twin-LED headlight setup. It comes equipped with a TFT instrument console and three ride modes: Sport, Road and Rain. 

The Triumph Daytona 660 is coming to India, probably in March 2024 and will likely be priced around the Rs 9.20 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. It will rival the likes of the Aprilia RS 660, Honda CBR650R, Kawasaki Ninja 650 and the upcoming Yamaha R7.
