Triumph Daytona 660 Design
The Triumph Daytona 660 blends sportbike sharpness with sports-touring practicality. While it retains a sleek, aerodynamic fairing and aggressive stance, the riding ergonomics are more relaxed compared to a track-focused supersport. It has a dual-headlamp design with a compact windscreen and slightly raised clip-on handlebars for better touring comfort. The tail section is slim, while the exposed frame and underbelly complement its muscular styling.

TriumphDaytona 660 Engine
The Triumph Daytona 660 is a 660cc inline-three cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is shared with the Trident 660 and Tiger Sport 660. It makes 95PS at 11,250rpm, 69Nm at 8,250rpm, and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.

Triumph Daytona 660 Chassis, Brakes, Wheels, Suspension
The Triumph Daytona 660 has a tubular steel perimeter frame, a 41mm Showa inverted down fork, and a Showa preload-adjustable monoshock. It gets twin 310mm front discs with Nissin four-piston radial calipers and a 220mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with Michelin Power 6 tubeless radial tyres: 120-section front and 180-section rear. It weighs 201kg kerb, has a 810mm seat height, mm ground clearance, and a 14-litre fuel tank.

Triumph Daytona 660 Features
The Triumph Daytona 660 offers a TFT console, but smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call/SMS alerts are available as an optional extra. Other features include ride-by-wire throttle, 3 riding modes (Sport, Road, Rain), and traction control. The bike also supports optional accessories like a bidirectional quickshifter, heated grips, luggage, and a USB charging port.

Triumph Daytona 660 Competition
The Triumph Daytona 660 competes with the Kawasaki Ninja 650, offering 1 extra cylinder and more features at a higher price. It also competes with the Aprilia RS 660, which is significantly more expensive. And last but not least, the Honda CBR650R, which is cheaper, has 1 more cylinder, and gets an e-clutch gearbox.
