The Triumph Rocket 3 is available in 2 variants. The Storm R is priced at Rs 21.99 lakh and the Storm GT is priced at Rs 22.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Triumph Rocket 3 Variants
The Triumph Rocket 3 is available in two variants: Storm R and Storm GT, where the Storm R is focused more on sporty performance and the Storm GT is focused more on touring.

Triumph Rocket 3 Design
The Triumph Rocket 3 boasts a muscular, aggressive design with a massive fuel tank, well-sculpted lines and a cruiser stance, which gives it an excellent road presence and premium appeal. To complete its muscular looks, Triumph has also given this motorcycle very wide tyres at both ends. The Storm GT variant gets a taller windscreen, slightly more padded seat and a pillion backrest.

Triumph Rocket 3 Engine
The Triumph Rocket 3 gets one of the largest engines on any production motorcycle. This 2,458cc three-cylinder engine makes 182PS at 7,000rpm and 225Nm at 4,000rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox and the power is delivered to the rear wheels through a shaft-drive.

Triumph Rocket 3 Chassis, Brakes And Suspension
The Triumph Rocket 3 uses an aluminium frame along with a Showa 47mm inverted fork and a Showa adjustable monoshock. It gets two 320mm discs at the front and a single 300mm disc at the rear, with Brembo calliper at both ends. The bike runs on 17-inch alloy wheels with a massive 150-section front and a 240-section rear tyre. The seat height is 773mm while the motorcycle weighs a massive 317kg (kerb). It also gets an 18-litre fuel tank.

Triumph Rocket 3 Features
The Triumph Rocket 3 gets all-LED lights along with a TFT instrument console which supports smartphone connectivity. Other than this, the bike gets cornering ABS, lean-sensitive traction control, hill-hold assist, and four ride modes: Road, Rain, Sport and Custom.

Triumph Rocket 3 Rivals
In the Indian market, the Triumph Rocket 3 competes with the Harley Davidson Fatboy, Ducati Diavel V4 and Indian Scout Bobber. Amongst these cruiser motorcycles, the Indian Scout Bobber is the most affordable motorcycle, while both, the Diavel V4 and the Fatboy are almost evenly priced.

July 09, 2026: Triumph has refreshed the Rocket 3 range with four new colours: two for the Storm R and two for the Storm GT. The former gets an ‘Ironstone & Storm Grey’ combo, and a ‘Sapphire Black & Graphite’ combination. On the other hand, the Storm GT comes in ‘Mineral Grey & Diablo Red’, and ‘Base Marine & Sapphire Black’ schemes. Expect the new shades to come to our shores a few months after it arrives in the UK in August 2026.
