Overview
The 2026 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is a middleweight supersport motorcycle from the Japanese bikemaker. It has a sharp design and is the only inline-four bike in the 600cc segment.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Price
The 2026 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is priced from Rs 11,69,000 (ex-showroom, India). That makes it a bit more expensive than its rivals.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Colours
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is available in a single ‘Lime Green’ colour scheme. Since there’s only one option, the choice is that much easier.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Variants
There are no multiple variants of the Ninja ZX-6R. There’s only one variant that gets everything Kawasaki wants it to have. No more having to compare the variants to look at features that you want to have and want to skip.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Design
The 2026 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R gets aggressive blue-white-black graphics on its body panels. The bike’s lime green colour scheme is inspired by its litre-class sibling, the Ninja ZX-10R. It has a twin-pod headlamp that looks quite sporty. Its bodylines run from its fuel tank and the side panels before merging in its sleek tail section. The blacked-out exhaust has a chrome garnish at its tip which looks nice. It also gets the iconic ‘Ninja’ branding on its underbelly.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Engine
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is powered by a 636cc, liquid-cooled inline-four engine producing 124PS and 69Nm. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox and comes equipped with a bidirectional quickshifter, assisted by a slipper clutch. This makes it the only 600cc inline-four superbike in India, and the most powerful amongst its competition in the country.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Chassis, Brakes, Wheels, Suspension
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R has an aluminium perimeter frame. It gets a 41mm Showa SFF-BP inverted fork and a monoshock, both fully adjustable for rebound and damping that lets you set it up as per your weight and riding preferences. The bike gets 310mm dual discs with radially mounted 4-piston callipers at the front and a 220mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS – this should give the bike decent stopping power. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels, wrapped with 120-section front and 180-section tubeless tyres. The bike has a 17-litre fuel tank, a ground clearance of 130mm and a seat height of 830mm. The Ninja ZX-6R weighs 198kg (kerb).

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Features
The bike gets a 4.3-inch TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity through the Kawasaki Rideology app. It displays essential information like the odometer, gear position, and call and SMS alerts. It also has an all-LED lighting setup and a lot of riding aids, like three power modes (Rain, Road and Sport), ABS modes, and a traction control system. While that’s enough for what it does, it misses out on navigation, even the basic turn-by-turn one.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R’s Competition
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R rivals the Triumph Daytona 660 and the Honda CBR650R. The Triumph is the cheapest motorcycle, then comes the Honda, and the Kawasaki is the most expensive one among these. Its rivals are more of sport tourers than outright sportbikes, and should be more suitable if you want a sub-600cc bike that’s comfortable yet powerful. The ZX-6R is a trackbike, because of which it favours performance and sporty ergonomics, which makes it less comfortable than the other two. That said, you can ride it over longer distances but you need to have that much willingness and commitment.
