Aprilia Tuono 660

It shares the mechanicals with the Aprilia RS 660. The overall design and styling of the Tuono 660 are inherited from the Tuono V4. 

The Tuono 660 is rich when it comes to the features. It gets Aprilia’s signature tri-LED headlight with DRLs. Furthermore, it has rider aids like multi-level traction control, anti-wheelie, cruise control, selectable engine maps, cornering ABS and five different riding modes, of which three are for the road and two for the track. All of this can be operated on a full TFT display.

The Tuono 660 houses a 659cc, parallel-twin motor with a 270-degree crank. It pumps out 96.3PS of power and 66Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter as standard.

The Tuono 660’s aluminium frame uses the engine as a stressed member. It is suspended on a 41mm Kayaba USD fork and monoshock, both with preload and rebound adjustability. Braking on the Tuono 660 is handled by dual 320mm discs at the front with Brembo radially-mounted 4-piston callipers and a 220mm disc at the rear.
