The 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 is designed to deliver a more approachable experience than its predecessor. It features a new 890cc engine, improved electronics, and a lighter chassis, making it both road and track-friendly.

The new Ducati Panigale V2 is available in two variants – V2 and V2 S – priced at Rs 19.12 lakh and Rs 21.10 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. The V2 S commands a higher price due to its premium Öhlins suspension, lithium-ion battery, additional features like launch control and pit speed limiter.

The new Ducati Panigale V2 is offered in a single Ducati Red colour scheme across both variants. This makes the choice that much easier. That said, it looks quite good on this Panigale.

Ducati Panigale V2 Design

The Panigale V2 continues Ducati’s trademark design philosophy, featuring sleek and aerodynamic bodywork inspired by the larger Panigale V4. The sharp fairings, sculpted fuel tank, and underbelly exhaust design give it a compact yet muscular stance.

Ducati Panigale V2 Engine

Powering the Ducati Panigale is an all-new 890cc, 90-degree V-twin engine that makes 120PS at 10,750rpm and 93.3Nm at 8,250rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox, slipper clutch, and bidirectional quickshifter. That should give it an exciting performance. 

Ducati Panigale V2 Underpinnings

This Ducati Panigale bike uses a new monocoque aluminium frame, has a 43mm Marzocchi fully adjustable inverted fork and Kayaba monoshock. The V2 S gets an Öhlins NIX30 fork and monoshock, both fully adjustable. It has Brembo M50 monobloc calipers with 320mm dual front discs and a 245mm rear disc. Both variants get Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres: 120-section front and 190 rear. The V2 weighs 179kg including fluids but without fuel and 177.6kg for the S. The seat height is 837mm and fuel tank 15 litres.

The 2025 Ducati Panigale bike gets a 5-inch TFT console, all-LED lights, and auto-off indicators It has switchable dual-channel ABS, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, slide control, engine brake control, launch control, pit speed limiter, and 4 ride modes: Race, Sport, Road, Wet. All of this makes it one of the most feature-rich bikes in its segment.

The new Panigale V2 with its smaller engine now sits on par in terms of performance with other supersport bikes like the Kawasaki ZX-6R, Aprilia RS 660, Yamaha YZF-R9, and KTM RC 990 R. But, the Ducati costs much more than all of these bikes.
