2026 TVS Ronin comes in four variants at varying price points and different feature-sets

TVS Ronin: Best Variant To Buy This Diwali

TVS reshuffled the Ronin range in September 2026. It added a new Base+ variant and the top and mid variant also got some feature updates. With this, the tvs ronin now runs from roughly Rs 1.30 lakh to Rs 1.64 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Here is what each variant offers and which one suits you.

    The Price Ladder (Delhi On-Road)

    Variant

    On-road price

Base (Lightning Black / Magma Red/Agonda Edition)

    Rs 1,30,290 / Rs 1,31,990 / Rs 1,33,790

    Base+

    Rs 1,42,490

Mid (Glacier Silver / Charcoal Ember)

    Rs 1,51,540 / Rs 1,52,840

    Top

    Rs 1,63,640

     TVS Ronin Design

Every Ronin variant has the same heart, the same frame and the same looks. That means the same 225.9 cc air-oil-cooled single making 20.4 PS and 19.93 Nm, a 5-speed gearbox with an assist-and-slipper clutch, a 160 kg kerb weight and a 795 mm seat. The design is neo-retro, with a round LED headlamp, T-shaped DRLs, a 14-litre tank and a contoured single-piece seat.

We found the build quality, the low-end pull and the nimble handling to be good. That said, there are vibrations above about 90 kmph, and the brake bite could’ve been harder. The pillion seat could also offer better comfort.

The LCD console shows speed, rpm, gear position, distance to empty, average speed, fuel level and dual tripmeters. What differs is the connectivity on the Mid and Top. Adjustable brake and clutch levers are reserved for the higher variants too.

    BikeDekho’s Verdict

The decision to buy the best TVS Ronin variant comes down to features rather than performance. For most buyers this Diwali, the Base+ is the smartest buy, since a small premium over the Base gets you dual-channel ABS.

Pick the Mid if you'd use turn-by-turn navigation daily. Traction control is not critical for a bike that’s not built for out-and-out performance, but go for the top variant only if you like the colours, and want the best of the best. Whichever you choose, check the final on-road price and Diwali offers with your dealer, and take a test ride before you book.

Best bike in segment. Mileage in pune city 35-40kmpl. On highway 45-50kmpl. Best for touring and offroading. Did 500km in one day, no body pains. In city bumper to bumper traffic. Bike is easy to control due to its gtt tech and decent torque. For beginner, it is best bike. High ground clearance gives confidence in bad roads. And metal body is solid.

The bike is awesome in this price range. In a low budget, this is really nice and fantastic. It's look is so good from the front side, back side, left side and also right side. Yeah, there's a problem regarding mileage but ok.

Best Bike in that price segment you can ever with that loaded features, i own Ronin base black variant and it's worth every penny and it gives you a decent mileage of 40-42kpml and 35-38 in city conditions and offers good riding comfort and it also looks cool the only downside is it's service, I hope TVS will look into it and improve.
