EICMA 2026: KTM Bikes’ Stall Wrapup
Will India get the 450 RC sportbike? Here’s what we think

It wouldn’t exactly be an EICMA if KTM wasn’t there, proudly displaying its wide range of bikes. The Austrian brand did the same this year as well, and if you missed that, here’s a quick rundown on everything the orange brand showed at EICMA 2026:
2027 KTM 450 RC

KTM has finally unveiled the 450 RC, a bike the brand made in partnership with Chinese brand CFMoto. The 450 RC is essentially based on the CFMoto 450SR-S and will be sold in Europe by 2028. It’s powered by a 449cc parallel-twin engine that makes about 56.7PS at 10000rpm and 39Nm at 9500rpm. That said, KTM might just detune it to make it closer to the 47PS mark (35 kW), to make it A2 license-compatible.

Other changes from the 450SR-S is that the KTM gets WP suspension and brakes at both ends. Other features include a 5-inch TFT, riding modes, cornering ABS and more. There’s a 320mm disc at the front along with a 240mm unit at the rear. The sportbike comes shod with Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 tyres.

That said, one thing that we must clarify is that this twin-cylinder platform has nothing to do with KTM’s upcoming 490cc platform. The latter will be a completely new platform. The 490 Duke is expected to make its debut exactly about a year later, at EICMA 2027. While it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, it’s unlikely that the 450 RC will come to India. What we will get is the upcoming twin-cylinder 490cc platform, which we expect to be manufactured in India as well.
New Colourways

KTM also unveiled a new colourway for the 390 Adventure R at EICMA 2026. The colourway still has the KTM orange beak at the front, but now with new more attractive graphics on the tank in an orange background and a white ‘R’ that contrasts beautifully. And to round it up with a bit of stealth, the bike gets a black fuel tank, which does look very nice indeed. The black and orange go quite well together and the orange part will also hide some of the scuffs and marks that an adventure bike inevitably gets on the tank.
Bigger Bikes

Apart from these, KTM also had on display the whole range of its bigger bikes. From the 1390 Super Duke variants, to the 790 Adventure, the stall had aspirational KTM bikes that’d make any KTM fan drool. While a lot of those are sold in India, we’d love to see some more KTM dirt bikes being sold in India as well. Maybe the 450 SX-F Factory Edition, to begin with.

To sum things up, EICMA 2026 was reasonably eventful for KTM and the Austrian brand has quite some exciting things in the pipeline for India as well. We’re hoping to see KTM’s new 490cc platform arrive on our shores soon.

Enduro R reviewsurprisingly capable on the road, especially on twisty tarmac often surprising sportbike riders. It can maintain highway speeds well but its dirt-bike roots mean long highway rides can be less comfortable due to wind firm seats and some engine vibrations More approachable, manageable, and easier to handle for less-experienced off-road riders. Excellent chassis/suspension.but can feel heavy and bottom out on the shock in very rough.aggressive terrain compared to dirt bike I want to say anything best mileage best performance what you need apart from that best bike i ever ride the aggressive bike especially on twisty tarmac often surprising sportbike ridervibrations engienRead More
My first love 😘First of all - Looks , OMG it looks pretty good i felt love for this thing, riding this machine is my first time on a adventure trip to leh Ladakh, it felt like smooth buttery ride , with the amazing power on demand the engine revs very fast , some times it feels jerky during gear shifts. But considering that might be a issue on my unit , Overall it's an fantastic package 😁 do get an hands on experience of minimum 100km and you will fell the words ...
