EICMA 2026: Yamaha Stall Wrapup
Scooters with the Tenere 700’s engine and an actual mini Tenere, there’s a lot that Yamaha put on display

EICMA 2026 was quite fruitful for Yamaha, for the Japanese manufacturer showcased a whole bunch of bikes and scooters. Right from electric scooters, to scooters with a bike’s engine and even a mini adventure bike, Yamaha showcased a lot. So in case you missed anything, here’s a quick wrapup of everything that Yamaha put on display at EICMA 2026:
RW700, Xenter E, NMax E And RW350

The RW700 was arguably the most exciting Yamaha two-wheeler showcased at EICMA 2026. Yamaha plonked the Tenere 700’s 690cc parallel-twin engine in a scooter and given that it’s actually quite a fun to ride mill, we can only imagine how much fun this scooter would be. It has the Y-AMT gearbox. There’s a 41mm USD fork, a monoshock, plenty of suspension travel and ample ground clearance. While it’s not an out and out off-roading machine, the RW700 will still go to places other more conventional scooters will not.

Then there’s the RW350, which seems to be exactly half the scooter when compared to the RW700. With a smaller 330cc liquid-cooled engine, it’s still a fairly large displacement scooter. Features include a TFT console, traction control, multiple riding modes, etc. even the RW350 sounds fun and something that’d make for a fun commuter, at the very least.

And then with an E in each of their names are the 2 electric scooters: Xenter E and NMax E. Their motor output figure is 7.5kW, while the battery pack is rated 3.5kWh. Yamaha claims that the range figures stand at 108km on the Xenter E and 104km for the NMax E. Charging times for both are around 5.5 hours and there are a lot of features on offer, including a good looking TFT console.
Yamaha Tenere 4 Concept

And next is another exciting concept, the Yamaha Tenere 4 concept. All manufacturers have been trying to get a piece of the 400-500cc entry level adventure bike market and that’s exactly what Yamaha is after too, it seems. While Yamaha hasn’t exactly revealed information about even the engine size, let alone its output figures, we think it could be in the 400-500cc category. That’ll also help the bike fall under the A2 classification.
Staying true to the Tenere tag, the Tenere 4 concept has a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel. The Michelin Anakee Wild tyres further add to the off-roading cred. There’s also KYB suspension at both ends, which we think should also have some amount of adjustability as well.
And the icing on the cake is that it looks rugged as hell. The tall windscreen, big front fender, knobby tyres and overall tall stance is what makes it feel 100% ready to take on anything you throw at it.
We’ve no details about whether the Tenere 4 will make its way to production. And if it does, it’ll go up against the likes of the KTM 390 Adventure R, Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, BMW 450 GSA, etc.
