Powering the faired supersport will be a 500cc parallel twin liquid-cooled engine. Expect healthy performance and refinement levels thanks to the parallel twin configuration. Like the KTM RC 390, the RC 490 is also expected to offer properly aggressive ergonomics and sporty dynamics. The KTM RC 490 is likely to be launched in mid-2022 and will compete against the Kawasaki Ninja 400, which is currently the only 400cc faired bike offered in India.
