Yamaha Fascino Expert Review
Yamaha Motors has landed into the scooter market few years back. After receiving a lot of admiration from the market in the scooter segment the company decided to launch its elegant and retro styled scooter to the Indian market. Called as Yamaha Fascino, it is the fourth offering from the company in India after Alpha, Ray and Ray Z in the scooter segment.
The scooter is powered by a 113cc, air-cooled, four-stroke engine, with Blue Core technology that assures better combustion along with a decent fuel economy. The DOHC powerplant comes mated to an automatic transmission and uses a Dry, centrifugal clutch to transmits the power to the rear wheels. It runs on 90/100-10 53J sticky tubeless tyres fitted at both, the front and the rear ends.
The front profile of the scooter comes with a neatly crafted eye-shaped headlamp that look amazing along with the chromed rear view mirrors and clear lens turning indicators. A small storage space is equipped at the front that can easily accommodate a mobile phone or a water bottle. Furthermore, it has a large and well-padded seat that offer an optimum comfort to the rider as well as pillion. Besides this, it also features a curvy flow and a 3D logo on the rear side panels. The rear end sports an elegant tail lamp that has some chrome and clear lens turn indicators incorporated in it.
Yamaha Fascino is constructed on an underbone frame and is crafted on a completely retro theme that makes it look extraordinary in today’s hi-tech world. The front fascia receives an eye-shaped headlamp. The apron comes with intelligently immersed air vents that go well along with the clear lens turning indicators. It has chromed rear view mirrors that are fitted just above the headlamp.
The scooter is provided with thick-cushioned large seat that offers high-end comfort and hassle-free ride even on long distance journey. The rear end has an elegant grab rail that matches well with the overall body profile. Furthermore, a vibrant tail lamp along with matte black rear body panel and clear lens blinkers further enhances the beauty of the scooter.
It has a neatly designed fuel tank of 5.2 liters capacity that gives it a respectable range due to its decent fuel economy. It has overall body dimensions of 1815 mm in length, 675 mm in width and 1120 mm in height that give it an essential appearance in public. A wheelbase of 1270 mm ensures agile handling even at high speeds. It has a minimum ground clearance of 128mm that offer a good stability around the corners. The instrument console is laid on a white dial that includes an analogue speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge.

The Blue Core technology enabled mill develops a peak power of 7 bhp at 7500 rpm along with a maximum torque 8.1 Nm at 5000 rpm and promises a better fuel combustion and efficiency. The motor has a bore x stroke ratio of 50 mm x 57.8 mm.
