- Worth considering in it's segmentHonestly, I wanted to buy the Speed 400, but it was too costly for me. So I did some research and found this bike, which offers better mileage and lower maintenance costs. Plus, no other bike in this price segment was offering dual-channel ABS, and I really liked its minimalist design. I have ridden around 9,980 km so far and I wouldn't say the ride is the best because it has a low handlebar, so you may experience back pain after some time. However, this can be solved by installing a handlebar riser. I have ridden around 9,980 km so far and I'm happy with the bike overall. After reaching around 95 kmph, it starts vibrating and you can feel it clearly. Since it has low torque, overall it is more suitable for city rides. It totally depends on your use case. I wanted the bike mainly for city rides and occasional touring. If Bajaj solves the stance issue, it would be a perfect bike. I don't have any complaints about the mileage or the vibrations after 95 to 100 kmph, as this is expected from a 160cc bike. Overall, I would recommend it, but make sure to take a test ride first.Read More4 2
- Pulsar N160 - Amazing machineI will give you my honest review about Pulsar N160. Since it's launch the Pulsar N series has been turning heads. The reason for selecting Pulsar N160 was it's performance, mileage and thrill of riding a pulsar. My maximum usage was in cities so I turned towards N160 as it provides good low end torque for cities and is fuel efficient along with the amazing exhaust sound and looks. Now coming to the ride quality of the bike, this bike feels very fun to ride. You can easily filter the traffic in cities as the weight is manageable. The highway performance of the bike is also commendable. We can cruise comfortable at 80-90 km/h without stressing the engine too much. The Pulsar N series is known for their punchy engines and smoothness. There are almost no vibrations and the ride feels smooth. As it is a two valve engine it has great low end torque which helps me for quick acceleration.Talking about the braking, it is mind-blowing.The dual-channel ABS helps in panic braking and the front brake bite is great. So you can quickly reach speeds of 70-80 and also can slow down from that speed quite efficiently thanks to it's amazing braking. I am getting mileage of around 45-50 which is good for a 160cc bike. The looks of this bike is very attractive. The exhaust sound is a melody to the ears and it is a head-turner on streets and you will get compliments from people. So overall if you are looking for a sporty 160cc bike with good mileage, reliability and performance then N160 is one of the best option in the Indian market. This bike will not disappoint you. I hope my review will help you to choose your perfect ride, Thanks.Read More29 6
- "Pulsar- Tiny body, Massive Power"First of all I chose this bike because from the beginning I heard one name a lot, that is pulsar. So on a random Day I entered the Bajaj showroom and told them what is the latest one. They show me the All new Bajaj Pulsar N160 with Dual Channel Abs system and USD suspension. To be honest. I rode the bike around 500 km since my purchasing and till now it is a very good experience as I expected when I was a Kid. The Aerodynamic design, front look and the stock bassy exhaust attracts me the most. Now talking about the negative things like the meter of the bike, Bajaj should bring back there iconic semi-digital meter which was there signature thing and the second thing is seat comfort. I will recommend everyone pulsar lover to buy the N series particularly because you will not get the combination of power, fuel efficiency and looks in any other bike. You should first experience the power and thrill of N160, then decide.Read More5 4
- N160 is a great bike of it’s segment. One of my friend bought this motorcycle and I tried it after riding the bike i felt too much smooth as a 160cc bike and the looks are killer compared to any other 160cc motorcycle present in india till date. I recommend this bike to all the beginners as the maintenance cost is very low and its easy to handle specially the newest model with the USD forks. Till now I have completed 20,000 plus kilometres, I have ride this bike to every possible terrain present in kolkata in fact out of kolkata. I have ride this bike in mountains as well with a loads of luggage and still the bike was capable to climb the mountains. I have done off roads and it is capable of off roads a bit Positive points. Mileage is very nice if you ride in economy approx 60 kilometre per litre Maintenance is very cheap Sufficient power to carry people and luggage with a pillion still can cross 120 kilometre per hour. Yes I would recommend this bike specially to the youth as this bike have good looks and its budget friendly, and it have a good mileage of 60 km on highway and 45 in city and the maintenance which is very lowRead More10
- Nice machine, but could have been better overall.Main reason to choose this bike was it's agressive & unique look and features it offer. I had another option of NS but it's quite common so i chose N160. I went for looks without taking test drive. It's my 1st bike and I was new driver back then so it's okay for me to make mistakes. Later I found there are other options which are providing more in same price. Pros.. great pickup, nice suspension, comfortable posture, decent mileage, headlamp visibility is outstanding, pillion comfort is also decent. Offers navigation which is quite usefull. Cons.. after sales service as you know it's bajaj you expect anything from them, in the name of cost cutting lot of parts have very low build quality battery, chain sprocket and set, side panels could have been better. Very nimble and light weight, easy and fun to ride machine. Can ride it for small-medium length roots with comfort. Great commuter with excellent pick up and power delivery. Low end torque is nice. Good ground clearance so no problem even on sturdy roads. It will take a lot of time to maintain but if you keep it clean, chain lubed properly, engine checked up time to time then it will be the best version of it. Service is recommended every 6 months but my suggestion is do it every 3 or 3.5 months, which makes it a little expensive.Read More6 1
