It is available in India in 2 variants and 2 colours with high end variant price starting from Rs 3.62 Lakh. 390 Adventure is powered by a 373.27 ccbs6-2.0 engine . It has Disc front brakes and Disc rear brakes. and comes with a fuel tank capacity of 14.5 L.

The KTM 390 Adventure is the Austrian brand's flagship adventure bike in India. 

KTM 390 Adventure Price: 

The 390 Adventure costs Rs 3,38,746 for the standard and low seat height model, Rs 3,60,880 for the top-spec spoke wheels and adjustable suspension equipped variant, and Rs 2,80,652 for the X (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). The standard and low seat height variant is available in two colours: Dark Galvano Black and Racing Blue, Galactic Blue and Dark Galvano Black for the X, and a singular Rally Orange colour for the spoke wheel model. 

KTM 390 Adventure Features:

The standard, low seat height, and spoke wheel (top) variants gets lean-angle sensitive traction control with two modes: Street and Offroad. KTM claims the Off-road mode will allow you to slide the rear wheel, making things easier when going past wet or loose terrain. 

That said, the Off-road mode will not turn off the traction control, just limit its intervention. Other notable features include an all-LED lighting system, upright ergonomics with an adjustable windshield, full-colour TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, with optional turn-by-turn navigation and a standard 12-volt charging port. 

The X, however, only gets an LCD instrument cluster without smartphone connectivity, Offroad ABS, slipper clutch, and 12V socket.

KTM 390 Adventure Engine: 

All variants of the KTM 390 Adventure are powered by the same engine found in the KTM 390 Duke. This 373cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled, OBD-2 compliant engine churns out 43.5PS at 9000rpm and 37Nm at 7000rpm. The engine works in conjunction with a six-speed transmission which comes with a bi-directional quickshifter on the standard model, low seat height, and spoke wheel variants, but the quickshifter is omitted on the X. 

KTM 390 Adventure Suspension & Brakes: 

The standard, X and low seat height variants get a non-adjustable inverted front fork, while the top variant gets preload and rebound adjustability. Similarly, while the others get 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels wrapped with Metzeler Tourance rubber (MoGrip Meteor tyres on the X), the top model gets the same size spoke wheels with Continental TKC 70 tubed tyres. The standard, low seat and X variant use preload-adjustable WP Apex monoshock, whereas the spoke wheel version uses a 10-click preload and 20-click rebound adjustable WP Apex unit.. Braking is via a 320mm disc up front and a 230mm disc at the rear with a dual-channel ABS with off-road mode. 

KTM 390 Adventure Rivals: 

The KTM 390 Adventure rivals the spartan, yet capable, Royal Enfield Himalayan, the premium BMW G 310 GS. The top-end spoke wheel variant will go up against the upcoming duo of the Himalayan 450 and the Hero XPulse 400.
