KTM 2023 125 Duke

The 2023 KTM 125 Duke has been spotted testing abroad. It comes with a major overhaul including the chassis and powertrain, apart from design tweaks. The bike gets sharper body panels and comes with a tweaked trellis frame. The swingarm is new, and the subframe looks similar to the one in the next-gen KTM 390 Duke. Powering the upcoming 2023 KTM 125 Duke is a 125cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The engine casing is different but expect it to make around the same power and torque as before: 14.95PS and 12Nm. That said, the engine could be tuned for a more usable powerband. 

The bike employs an inverted fork at the front and a rear offset monoshock, both from WP. The wheels and disc brakes at both ends seem to be borrowed from the 2022 KTM RC 200 and RC 390. 

KTM could unveil the next-gen baby Duke by the end of this year at the earliest. It could command a price tag of around Rs 1.80 lakh (ex-showroom). It goes up against the Yamaha MT125, Suzuki GSX-S125 and the Honda CB125R.
