The 2025 KTM RC 390 has been spied on testing abroad a couple of times.
The Gen-3 KTM RC 390 takes design inspiration from the bigger RC 8C, with the new single-piece fairing and a redesigned front-end design. Bits like the bionic alloy wheels, lighter disc brakes and the mirrors are from the current generation RC series. However, a lot has changed underneath.
In terms of features, the KTM RC 390 is likely to get the same 5-inch TFT instrument console as the 390 Duke, offering smartphone connectivity. The console also has turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts and music controls. The RC may also get the same rider aid features as the Duke 390 including, a bi-directional quickshifter, slipper clutch, ABS modes, launch control, traction control and riding modes.
We also expect the supersport to pack the new 399cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine to be carried over from the next generation 390 Duke to this bike. It may come fitted with an all-new chassis with a bolt-on aluminium subframe, an updated asymmetrical swingarm, an inverted fork and an offset monoshock.
The new KTM RC 390 is expected to launch by the start of 2026. It is likely to be priced somewhere around the Rs 3. 5 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.
