Three new variants of the TVS iQube have been launched including an entry-level 2.2kWh variant and two variants of the iQube ST: 3.4kWh and 5.1kWh. The entry-level 2.2kWh variant goes up against the Ampere Nexus EX variant as both are similarly priced. Here’s how they compare. The TVS iQube is the first electric scooter from the TVS Motor Company. It has a family-focused, practical design and is one of the best-selling electric scooters in the premium segment in India. 

TVS iQube Electric Price:

The TVS iQube Electric is currently available in five variants. The standard iQube 2.2kWh variant is priced at Rs 94,999 and the iQube 3.4kWh costs Rs 1,36,628 (which is Rs 2,206 more than before). The iQube S variant is priced at Rs 1,46,420 (a small premium of Rs 6,395 than before). The newly launched iQube ST 3.4kWh is priced at Rs 1,55,555 and the 5.1kWh variant comes at Rs 1,85,373 (all prices ex-showroom Bengaluru, including EMPS or Electric Mobility Promotional Scheme 2024).

The iQube 2.2kWh comes in two colours including Pearl White and Walnut Brown, the iQube 3.4kWh is available in three colour options – Pearl White, Titanium Grey Glossy, and Shining Red. The iQube S is also sold in three colour options: Mint Blue, Copper Bronze Glossy, and Mercury Grey Glossy. The top-of-the-line ST variant has four colour options: Starlight Blue Glossy, Titanium Grey Matte, Coral Sand Glossy and Copper Bronze Matte.

TVS iQube Electric Motor, Battery & Range

All the TVS iQube, iQube S and iQube ST variants are driven by a 3kW hub-mounted motor with a peak power of 4.4kW. The claimed top speed of the standard and S variants is 78kmph, while the ST variant has a top speed of 82kmph.

The electric scooter has three battery capacity options including 2.2kWh, 3.4kWh and 5.1kWh battery packs. The standard iQube 2.2kWh variant delivers a claimed range of 75km and charges from 0 to 80 percent in 2 hours from a 950W charger. The standard 3.4kWh variant, along with the iQube S and iQube ST 3.4kWh, promises a range of 100km and takes 2 hours and 50 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent when charged from a 950W charger. The iQube ST 5.1kWh variant claims a range of 150km and charges from 0 to 80 percent in 4 hours and 18 minutes from a 950W charger.

TVS iQube Electric Suspension and Brakes:

The TVS iQube gets a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. It comes with a 220mm front disc and 130mm rear drum on all variants. The electric scooter uses tubeless 90-section tyres on 12-inch wheels at both ends. The iQube electric has a ground clearance of 157mm and a seat height of 770mm. While the base variant has a kerb weight of 117.2kg, the S version weighs 118.8kg.

TVS iQube Electric Key Features:

The TVS iQube Electric comes with many modern features like all-LED lighting and a TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity via the SmartXonnect app. It also gets navigation, geo-fencing, estimated range indicator, battery charge status, ride statistics, and an overspeeding alert. The standard variant comes with a 5-inch display and the S variant comes with a larger 7-inch console, both variants have a five-way joystick on the left handlebar for easy navigation through the menus. Whereas the ST variant gets a 7-inch touchscreen display. Both variants have a five-way joystick on the left handlebar for easy navigation through the menus. For extra practicality, the e-scooter also gets a USB charging port near the apron cubbyhole. 

The iQube 2.2kWh has a 30-litre underseat storage capacity with a boot light, whereas other variants get a more spacious 32-litre boot space.
