Globally, the Honda PCX160 comes in a standard version and certain markets offer a PCX e:HEV hybrid variant. For India, only the standard version has been patented so far.
Honda PCX160 Design
The Honda PCX160 sports a sleek and aerodynamic maxi-scooter design, highlighted by a large apron with an integrated headlight and DRLs. It has a tall windscreen for improved wind protection, a long and comfortable stepped seat, and sharp body lines that enhance its modern appearance. The rear section features a 3D ‘x’-shaped tail lamp.
Honda PCX160 Engine
Powering the Honda PCX160 is a 157cc, liquid-cooled, SOHC (Single Overhead Camshaft) 4-valve, single-cylinder engine making 15.8PS, 15Nm, and mated to an automatic transmission.
Honda PCX160 Chassis, Brakes, Wheels, Suspension
The Honda PCX160 uses an underbone chassis, 31mm telescopic fork with 100mm travel, and twin shocks with 95mm travel. It has a 14-inch front alloy wheel with a 110-section tyre and a 13-inch rear with a 130-section - both tubeless. It gets a 220mm front disc with single-channel ABS and a 130mm rear drum brake. It has a 765mm seat height, 8-litre fuel tank, 132kg kerb weight, 30-litre underseat storage and a front glovebox.
Honda PCX160 Features
The Honda PCX160 gets an LCD console which has the speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge, real-time fuel efficiency, V-belt replacement indicator, and a low battery warning. It also gets keyless ignition, all-LED lighting, hazard lights, traction control, and single-channel ABS at the front.

If launched in India, the Honda PCX160 will rival the Yamaha Aerox 155, Hero Xoom 160, and Aprilia SXR 160.
