The BGauss Max C12 electric scooter is positioned as a practical and feature-packed EV, designed for daily commutes with a blend of performance and comfort. It is priced between Rs 99,990 to Rs 1,29,990 (ex-showroom, excluding subsidies) depending on the variant.
The BGauss Max C12 has either a 2kWh or 2.7kWh lithium-ion battery, with an ARAI-certified range of 85km or 123km respectively. They both take around 6-7 hours to charge.
The BGauss Max C12 is powered by a hub motor that delivers 2.5kW peak power, 1.5kW continuous power, and 105Nm peak torque at the wheel. It accelerates from 0-40kmph in 8.5 seconds, has a 60kmph top speed, and can climb roads that are inclined up to 15 degrees.
The BGauss Max C12 has a 12-inch front and a 10-inch rear steel wheels, 130mm drum brakes on both ends, telescopic fork, and twin shock absorbers. It has a 774mm seat height, spacious floorboard with a lockable compartment, a glovebox, an upright handlebar, a fairly manageable 107kg kerb weight, 155mm ground clearance, and a decent 23 litres of underseat storage.
The BGauss Max C12 gets all-LED lighting, and a digital instrument console that shows speed, battery percentage, odometer, and distance-to-empty readout. Riders also benefit from Bluetooth smartphone app connectivity, offering real-time battery updates, ride statistics, remote immobilization, geo-fencing, and last parked location. That said, there’s no navigation.
