Introduction
BGauss Oowah, launched on 11th August 2026, is an electric scooter targeted at first-time EV buyers. Its unique design will appeal to younger audiences.
Price
Prices start at Rs 94,990 for the base Ex variant, whereas the Max and Max Plus variants are priced at Rs 1,22,990.
Design
The scooter has compact proportions, and the design language is boxy and funky. It looks pretty unique with the round headlamp surrounded by the squarish nacelle. The curved rear section gives it a clean silhouette, and the contrasting black elements add a touch of subtlety.
Features
The most notable feature of the Oowah is its removable battery pack. It can be charged at home, in an office, or wherever a suitable power socket is available. The battery is IP67-rated, while the motor is IP65-rated for protection against water and dust. It comes with all-LED lighting, a USB charging port, an LCD console, and a small storage space. The boot space isn’t as large because the removable batteries take up most of it. It also has a reverse assist feature - ideal for moving around tight parking spaces.
Colours
Colours on offer are: Laguna Blue, Cloud White, Saga Green, Mocha Brown, and Midnight Grey for the Ex and Max variants.
The Max Plus variant is offered in violet, red, orange, and green colourways with different graphics.
Motor, Battery and Range
The Oowah uses a 1.5kW-rated electric motor, with a maximum power output of 2.4 kW. The top speed is 60 kmph, just about enough for short city commutes. The EX gets a 2.3 kWh battery with an ARAI-claimed range of 105 km and a 0–100% charging time of around 5 hours and 15 minutes.
The 3.0 kWh Max and Max Plus variants have a 145 km ARAI-certified range and take approximately 6 hours and 50 minutes to fully charge. There is also an option to purchase a 1350-watt fast charger that reduces charging time significantly.
Chassis, Brakes, Wheels, Suspension
The Oowah uses a conventional underbone scooter chassis with a telescopic fork at the front.
The rear uses dual shock absorbers.
Braking duties are managed by 110mm drum brakes at both ends. It also gets a combined braking system.
The EX weighs just 97kg, making it one of the lighter electric scooters, and the variant with the larger battery weighs 104kg.

Moreover it was love at first sight listening to its features and recommended to seniors. Positive and enjoyable. OOWAH is really comfortable with large boots pace, very easily chargeable and the ride is very smooth for manoeuvring for senior like me. - The rides of mileage within a city for daily use.Superb suspension with removable battery with front head light is awesome in nights with a clear version every one approach and ask the experience of the bike for the stunning design mainly the led instrument cluster. The mileage is fikne within city and I am a bike driver I have been earning good per day by driving the bike because of no petrol the full money on my hands, but the only problem is I am facing charging time. It is best for a daily use within a city nearly i have saved petrol for 3500km driven in a month and the electricity bill is very less.
