The BGauss RUV 350 is the latest electric scooter from the manufacturer and it comes with a unique design and a bunch of features. The RUV 350 was recently launched at a price starting at Rs 1,09,999 ex-showroom.
BGauss RUV 350 Price
The BGauss RUV 350 is offered in 3 variants: 350i EX, 350 EX and the 350 Max. The 350i EX comes at a price of Rs 1,09,999. Whereas the 350 EX costs Rs 1,24,999 and the top end 350 Max costs Rs 1,34,999. All prices are ex-showroom.
BGauss RUV 350 Powertrain
The RUV 350 is powered by a 3. 5kW motor, mated to a 3kWh battery pack. The scooter has a claimed top speed of 75kmph and an ARAI certified range of 135km. The scooter has 3 riding modes Eco, Ride and Sport with top speeds of 45kmph, 60kmph and 75kmph respectively.
BGauss has offered 3 chargers, a 500W one which takes 6 hours 50 minutes to charge the battery from 0-100, a 840W one that takes 3 hours 55 minutes for the same and a 1350W unit that takes 2 hours 35 minutes.
BGauss RUV 350 Underpinnings
The RUV 350 is built on a tubular frame and is suspended on a telescopic fork and a 5-step adjustable gas-charged single shock absorber. It rolls on 16-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. Braking duties are handled by 130mm drum brakes at the front and rear with combined braking system (CBS).
The seat height is 785mm and the ground clearance is 160mm. The kerb weight comes to 122kg and the e-scooter has a standard payload capacity of 150kg.
BGauss RUV 350 Features
The 350i EX comes with a segmented display whereas the console on the RUV 350’s EX and Max variant is a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity. The console provides readouts such as speed, battery level, trip and odometer readouts along with a distance to empty readout. The console features two layouts, Classic and Glide. It also offers service alerts as well.
The scooter also has a reverse mode with a dedicated button. It also gets cruise control which can be switched on with a dedicated button. Other features include turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alert, hill hold, roll over detection, regen braking along with side stand and mainstand motor cutoff.
Through the BGauss app, riders can access vehicle diagnostics and telematics. Lastly, the scooter also gets firmware updates, a parental lock and an immobilisation feature as well.
