Overview
Honda has unveiled the QC3, its all-new family-focused electric scooter, in India. It carries twice the battery capacity of the existing QC1 and promises a far more usable range, positioning it as a more practical everyday option in Honda's electric scooter lineup. With a modern design and a well-rounded feature list, the QC3 looks ready to be a step up over its affordable sibling, or even the Activa e: for that matter. It is expected to be priced at around Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom) and is likely to be launched around the end of 2026.

Design
The Honda QC3 looks neat and features a wide handlebar and an upright seating position that should make it comfortable for daily commuting. The LED headlight is mounted on the apron, just like how it is on the QC1. In fact, the overall design is similar, but the QC3 manages to look a bit beefier. It is meant to appeal to a wide range of audiences, so it doesn’t look as flashy.

Features
The scooter comes equipped with a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity for call/SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. A front-mounted USB port lets riders charge their devices on the move, while a generous 32-litre under-seat storage and keyless operation add to everyday convenience.

Motor, Performance and Range
The QC3 draws power from a 3kWh battery pack, delivering a claimed IDC (Indian Driving Conditions) range of 145km. The fast charger takes the battery from 0 to 80% in 2 hours and 40 minutes, while a complete charge takes around 4 hours.

Underpinnings
Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. For braking, the scooter relies on a front disc paired with a rear drum, a straightforward setup for city riding.

Rivals To Consider
The Honda QC3, once launched, will rival the Bajaj Chetak C3501, TVS iQube 3.5 kWh and Vida VX2 Plus 3.4.
