BattRE recently launched its first e-scooter, the Stor:ie. It’s priced at Rs 89,600 (ex-showroom, excluding FAME II and State Subsidy).

At the heart of the e-scooter is a Lucas TVS-sourced motor with a 3. 1kWh battery pack with an ICAT (International Centre for Automotive Technology) certified range of 132km on a single charge.

The Storie adopts a retro design with an overall theme that somewhat resembles some of the Vespa scooters. The scooter gets a halogen headlight as well as bulb indicators with an otherwise clean and uncluttered look.

The scooter’s instrument cluster facilitates bluetooth connectivity, call alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. That helps the driver locate the charging stations nearby. Along with that, you will also have access to the scooter’s diagnostics.

For the asking price, it goes up against the likes of the Hero Electric Photon, Okinawa PraisePro and Hero Electric NYX. That said, the Hero Electric NYX HX has a higher 138km claimed range thanks to its dual-battery setup.
