Hero Electric Photon

Indian auto industry gets another high-end electric scooter christened as Hero Electric Photon. It comes with great body dynamics and promises a power-packed, pollution free commuting.The scooter propels through a VRLA 33 AH/48V battery that makes the motor churn out a peak power output of 1500 watt. This pushes the vehicle to an impressive speed of 45kmph.

The vehicle is equipped with disc brake at the front for effective braking. The rear wheel comes with a conventional drum brake. The suspension system includes high telescopic forks for a smooth and hassle-free ride. The scooter sports 10”x3” steel alloy wheels at both ends.

Hero Electric Photon sits on a reinforced high strength steel chassis and comes equipped with a high torque controller. The automatic transmission comprises of dual modes of driving, named as Economy mode and Power mode. The Economy mode promises an adequate speed with a longer range of 80kms. On the other hand, Power mode gives improved speed with a lesser distance range of 50kms on a full charge.

The scooter comes with an impressive body design. Good use of aerodynamic design provides better ride quality. The front profile comes with sober looks and incorporates a round shaped polycarbonate headlamp. The glossy finish of the paintwork blesses it with an eye-catching appeal. The eco-friendly scooter is further equipped with an anti theft alarm to prevent any mishap. 

Hero Electric Photon is a stylish and lightweight electric scooter that scores well on both, visuals as well as performance. The front profile has a rounded headlamp that gives the scooter a retro look. The two oval-shaped clear lens indicators are neatly embedded in the apron and looks decent. The highly finished body and the supreme paintwork delivers a majestic feel to the scooter. It has a long and comfortable seat that isn't best of the class but still offers enough comfort to the rider and pillion. The side panels are neatly designed and looks munificent being dual toned with matte grey colour. The rear end of the scooter features a stylish and sporty split grab rail which is not generally seen in these type of vehicles. The vehicle has been given a stylish tail lamp section that comes integrated with clear lens blinkers and looks stunning.

The scooter is built on a high strength reinforced steel chassis and comes with overall good body dimensions that give it a decent stance in public. It has a minimum ground clearance of 140mm that offers high stability while cornering. The vehicle weighs just 111kgs that make it an easy to ride and reliable electric two-wheeler. The instrument cluster comes with an analogue speedometer, odometer and remaining battery gauge along with the usual telltale lights. Hero Electric Photon has a decent underseat storage of 20 to 25 liters that proves useful while shopping and carrying stuff from one place to another. An anti-theft alarm has been equipped with the vehicle that prevents any mishap and gives an extra inch of safety to its owner. 

Hero Electric Photon has a bright multi reflector 12V-35/35W headlight that illuminates the road well and provides a proper vision at nights. The twin rear view mirrors alerts the rider of traffic behaviour behind him to prevent any accident. The scooter has a durable disc brake mounted at the front wheel that stops the vehicle instantly and works fine in all conditions. 

The lightweight electric scooter gets its propelled from a 1000W electric motor that has a peak output of 1500W, which in turn is powered by a 48V-33Ah low maintenance battery. The battery takes 6 to 8 hours to get completely charged and pushes the vehicle to a maximum speed of 45kmph. Furthermore, the vehicle comes with two riding modes viz. Eco and Power that gives a range of 80kms and 50kms respectively. 

Hero Electric Photon has been assisted with reliable braking system that doesn't fails under any condition. It comprises of a powerful disc brake at the front and drum brake at the rear that slows down the vehicle effortlessly. The scooter avails a comfortable ride as it comes fitted with telescopic hydraulic forks upfront and coil spring aided shock absorbers at the rear.
