Okaya Faast Latest Updates
Okaya Faast F4 is a high-speed electric scooter by the Indian brand Okaya Power. The e-scooter comes packed with all the essential modern-day features and a respectable range. While it is the most premium e-scooter, Okaya also offers a more affordable variant, the Faast F3.
Okaya Faast Price
The Okaya Faast F4 is priced at Rs 1,09,000 (ex-showroom including Fame II subsidy), whereas the F3 costs Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom).
Okaya Faast Features
The Okaya Faast F4 comes fully loaded with modern-day features including a digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity, vehicle tracker, geo-fencing, anti-theft alert, keyless operation, remote enable/disable, battery status, ride & trip history and battery statistics. While the F3 gets remote lock along with wheel lock, it misses out on connectivity features. The two e-scooters also come equipped with all LED lighting, three ride modes (Eco, City and Sport), and reverse and walk assist.
Okaya Faast Powertrain
It is powered by a 1. 2kW (rated) BLDC hub motor and claims a 60-70kmph of top speed. The motor is paired to a dual LFP (Lithium iron phosphate) battery pack with a total capacity of 4. 4kWh, claiming a 140-160km of range in the Faast F4. On the other hand, the F3 comes with a smaller dual 3. 53kWh LFP battery pack with a claimed range of 120-130km. It takes about a total of 5-6 hours to fully juice up the batteries for the F4 and 4-5 hours for the F3.
Okaya Faast Underpinnings
The Faast F4 and F3 feature a telescopic fork and a twin shock absorber suspension setup. For braking, they use a 130mm drum unit up front and a 110mm drum brake at the rear with a mechanical combi braking system. The e-scooters roll on 12-inch wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres.
Okaya Faast Rivals
In terms of what it packs and its price tag, the Okaya Faast F4 rivals the likes of Okinawa Okhi90, BGauss D15, Ola S1 and Ather 450 Plus. On the other hand, the F3 goes up against Hero Electric Optima CX, Ampere Magnus EX, among others.
