BGauss D15 Price
The BGauss D15 is available in two variants: D15i priced at Rs 99,999 and the D15 Pro, priced at Rs 1,14,999 (ex-showroom). This e-scooter can be purchased in five colours – Metallic Red, Pearl White, Metallic Blue, Moss Green, and a two-tone Black and Silver combo.
BGauss D15 Powertrain
The BGauss D15 uses a 3. 1kW motor that has a claimed continuous power of 1. 5kW and a peak torque of 110Nm. This motor is paired with a 3. 2kWh Lithium-ion battery pack that has a claimed range of 115km. You can charge the EV with the standard charger in about five and a half hours, while with the optional wall charger, the charging time drops to two and half hours. It has a claimed top speed of just 60kmph.
BGauss D15 Suspension & Brakes
The BGauss D15 features a telescopic fork and dual shock suspension setup. For braking, BGauss has employed drum brakes at both ends. The BGauss D15 is also the second e-scooter in our market to feature 16-inch alloy wheels.
BGauss D15 Features
The BGauss D15 comes with a bunch of basic features like three riding modes (Eco, Sport and Reverse), distance to empty, limp home mode, anti-theft alarm and even battery consumption rate. The top-spec D15 Pro further gets connectivity features like geo-fencing, find my vehicle, remote immobilisation and a few app-based features. However, there’s no call/SMS alert or navigation for both variants.
BGauss D15 Rivals
At this price, the BGauss D15 comes pretty close to the Ola S1. However, if you are looking for something similar like the D15 with more performance, you can check the Okinawa Okhi90. Other premium options in the market are the Ather 45 Plus, Bajaj Chetak and TVS iQube Electric.
