After purchasing and spending time on the Triumph Speed 400, I can say it is a modern classic done right. The headline for my review would be A Modern Classic with Plenty of Power and Style. The 400cc inline-triple engine provides loads of torque and power, especially in the midrange so overtaking and accelerating out of corners is easy. The retro-modern styling looks great and the upright ergonomics are comfortable for most riders. The handling is also impressive with the Speed 400 feeling playful yet stable through the corners.
