Royal Enfield says that the upcoming electric bike will be a fresh departure from the regular EVs, and here’s all you need to know. The electric bike is expected to debut sometime around 2024-25. An image of the upcoming electric bike has surfaced online. The bike employs an old-fashioned girder fork as well as a ‘fuel tank’ Here’s your first look at it.
Royal Enfield says that while it has multiple EV projects currently in the works, the first one will likely be an urban motorcycle built on a whole new platform. The motorcycle will likely offer performance comparable to a laid-back 250-300cc motorcycle in order to extract reasonable range from a reasonably sized battery pack as more performance and long range demand a bigger battery and that means more weight.
