    Honda Rebel 300 Expert Overview

    BikeDekho Experts

    Overview

Honda officially unveiled the Rebel 300 in India on July 24, 2026, as part of a massive 10-product range reveal. Unlike the regular commuters in Honda’s lineup, this one’s more of a lifestyle cruiser aimed at those who want the look of a custom bike right out of the factory.

It will be offered in both Standard and E-Clutch variants; the E-Clutch version should control clutch operation automatically to make navigating heavy, stop-and-go traffic effortless. Expect the Rebel 300  to be priced at Rs 2.60 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the E-Clutch variant might cost around Rs 30,000 extra.  It is likely to be launched by the end of this year.

    Design

The Honda Rebel 300 has a stripped-down, low-slung bobber look with a blacked-out theme. It has a round headlamp, minimalist tank, split seat, and chunky tyres on 16-inch wheels.

    Safety Features

You get disc brakes at both wheels with dual-channel ABS, so stopping power should be adequate and reassuring. It also gets hazard lights functionality. There are no rider aids apart from ABS on the Rebel 300.

    Rebel 300

    Convenience Features

Unlike the simple LCD seen on the one sold abroad, the made-in-India bike features a TFT display equipped with Honda RoadSync. This enables Bluetooth connectivity along with turn-by-turn navigation right on the console, making daily commutes and long rides much more convenient.

    Riding Posture & Comfort

    Rider Comfort:

The seat is extremely low and accessible enough for short riders. That said, don’t expect the best comfort as the limited travel in the suspension can only do so much on particularly bad roads. It should be fairly comfy on smooth roads, though.

    Rebel 300

    Pillion Comfort:

The pillion seat doesn’t appear to be the roomiest, so it’s best reserved for short commutes. We hope Honda offers an accessory cushioned backrest, which should make the overall experience better for the pillion.

    Engine & Performance

    City & Highway Performance

The Honda Rebel 300 uses a 286cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine; the same one found in the Honda CB300R. It makes 30.4PS and 27.4Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox in the model sold in international markets. The Indian model will most likely make more or less similar figures.

    Rebel 300

    Gearbox

The Rebel 300 gets a six-speed manual gearbox paired with Honda's E-Clutch tech, which will come to  India. The E-Clutch variant should let you shift without using the clutch. Though it's still there if you want to use it. The presence of the E-Clutch is the only difference between the standard and E-Clutch variants of the Rebel 300.

    Handling & Ride Quality

    Brakes

Much like the model sold overseas, it gets disc brakes at both wheels with dual-channel ABS. They should be adequate and predictable enough for everyday use.

    Handling & Ride Quality

The Rebel 300 uses a 41mm fork and twin rear shocks. Don’t expect the most plush ride quality because of the short-travel rear suspension, as mentioned above. While well-paved roads shouldn’t be an issue, the bike is not really made for bad or broken roads. With a raked-out fork, expect it to be a relaxed motorcycle, and not something that’s designed to change directions rapidly.

    Rivals To Consider

If launched in India, the Honda Rebel 300 will go up against rivals such as the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Jawa Perak, Yezdi Roadster, Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350, and Jawa 42 Bobber.

      The looks of the bike
The looks of the bike is way too sharp and bulky which makes me fall in love at first site. The performance of 500cc is way too smooth. It has low vibrations as compared to other its competitors. The black color is soo better and suits alot on this bike. Honda rebel 300 gives you full feel of the Harley Davidson which is a good point of it.

      Beatiful bike.
This bike combines aesthetic appeal with universal comfort, catering to riders of all statures, including those with back issues or shorter height. It outshines certain aspects of a Harley, particularly in ground clearance.
