Instrument cluster and suspension details of the upcoming supersport have been revealed

(UPDATE: BMW has launched the G 310 RR in India. Full details in our launch story)

BMW Motorrad India has teased its upcoming supersport, the G 310 RR, yet again. The teaser video confirms that the G 310 RR will be borrowing most of the hardware from the TVS Apache RR 310. Interestingly, the teaser also suggests there will be two variants of the beemer, or does it?

An earlier teaser had confirmed that the upcoming fully faired bike will be getting a fully adjustable front suspension. However, the bike in the new teaser misses out on the hardware, suggesting that it may be available in two variants.

We cannot discard the possibility wherein rather than a different variant, BMW might just offer a sports package (likely to be called the ‘M Sport’ package) for the bike, similar to what it does with its bigger models.

The teaser reveals that the BMW G 310 RR will get the same portrait-style 5-inch TFT cluster as the TVS Apache RR 310, although, there is a new interface. Apart from the same hardware, the BMW G 310 RR is seen donning the signature M livery, distinguishing it from the flagship Apache.

The BMW G 310 RR will be launched on July 15, 2022, in India, and is expected to carry a price tag of around Rs 2.85 lakh (ex-showroom) which will still enable it to undercut its rivals, the KTM RC 390 and Kawasaki Ninja 300. Bookings for the supersport are being accepted.
