Owners Opinion On Specifications
AI summaryReviewers highlight the BMW G 310 RR’s sharp handling, sporty styling, and stable performance on highways. They appreciate its premium build quality, braking, and safety features like ABS. However, the firm seat limits long-ride comfort, and maintenance and spare parts tend to be costly and less accessible.

Overview
Design & Quality
The BMW G 310 RR is an absolute looker, when it comes to design. It gets sharp and nicely designed body panels. It has a neat tail section and beautiful looking chrome tip exhaust. This makes the motorcycle look extremely desirable.

It is available in 3 colour options: Sport, Racing Blue Metallic Style Passion, Cosmic Black 2 which is more like a storm metallic black paint scheme. The paint quality is quite premium as well with good quality base paint. In my opinion, the best colour is the Racing Blue paint scheme with the BMW branding style on the side fairing as it makes the motorcycle look slightly similar to bigger BMW motorcycles.
Features & Practicality
In the feature front , the G 310 RR gets lots of features which improves the overall performance and safety that the motorcycle provides. Features like dual-channel ABS, a TFT console, ride-by-wire throttle and 4 riding modes: Track, Urban, Rain and Sport. These ride modes alter the power and torque which the engine produces accordingly.

I found the motorcycle’s console to be easy-to-read. It also shows basic readouts like distance to empty, average fuel consumption, coolant temperature, gear-shift indicator along with other high-tech features. It gets twin LED headlights with LED tail light and LED turn indicators.
Rider & Pillion Comfort
Like almost all fully faired sports bikes, the G 310 RR also comes with an aggressive riding stance but it is not as aggressive as some of its rivals. Things like the slightly higher set clip-ons, the G 310 RR makes it quite comfortable to sit on with plenty of space to move around and the rider’s back does not bend as much as while sitting on other sports bikes. The footpegs have a good amount of space for both rider and pillion feet.

It gets a split seats setup and I found the rider seat on the G 310 RR to be quite stiff, but accommodating and even the seat height is not bad. Also, the well-designed fuel tank allows for an area to grip on while sitting on this sports bike which improves riding comfort.
Engine & Performance
The G 310 RR gets a 312.2cc single-cylinder engine which can also be seen in the Apache RR 310.

|
312.2cc |

The power figures are decent for the category and this engine has been praised for its exciting power delivery in other models which it powers. However, the exhaust note could have been slightly better but it becomes quite good as the revs climb. The performance is going to be quite exciting in the Sport mode of this motorcycle and it should be able to hit a top speed of more than 150kmph in the top gear.
Ride Quality & Handling
The G 310 RR shares its chassis, the front fork and rear mono shock with the RR 310. This means that this BMW bike is going to have some engaging handling along with the overall package and slightly committed riding posture. With a 171kg kerb weight, it should be a good city motorcycle.
It runs on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends. The only downside could be that the G 310 RR Michelin Pilot Street tyres, not the Road 5. The fuel tank capacity is quite low at 11 litres. The G 310 RR gets a 300mm front disc and a 240mm rear petal-tyre rotors with front sintered brake pads. This braking setup and disc design should ensure good braking performance. The short wheelbase should allow for a good turning radius.
Should you buy BMW G 310 RR

- A true head-turner on roads!I chose this BMW 310 RR because I wanted something sporty, aggressive, and premium. This bike delivers everything perfectly. The design attracts attention wherever I go, people literally turn their heads when they see it, and I really like that. I have ridden it for close to 21,000 km in just 1 year and the throttle response is amazing. It is very responsive. Also, the suspension offers outstanding performance, and the engine's response is excellent. I really love it, the maximum mileage I have achieved is 37 kmpl and on average it gives around 31-33kmpl. This bike is really reliable. The only downside is that the service costs are high, but since all the technicians handling it are well-trained, it works well for me and for the bike. Absolutely, I would definitely recommend it to anybody who is looking for a sporty, reliable, and premium bike. It is fun to ride and offers great performance and looks stunning. - Pros and cons of bmw g310rrI wanted a sport style bike to ride which i can take on long trips with comfort I consider r15 before that but I wanted comfort which I will not get on r15 so ya this bike was a good choice and bmw is a brand which never make costumer disappointed Its good and comfortable and no issues of heating that much but seat is little slippery so I recommend changing seat or add seat cover with extra foam sometimes it gets heated in traffic but radiator works well after it gets heated it start to cool down instantly I would definitely recommend this bike if by chance you are looking for sport bike nearly about 3 lakhs and comfort on daily commuting you wont regret buying this bike and its stock exhaust is good too I do not think you need to change exhaust I do not even recommend changing as i am getting avg of 37 with everything stock and top speed pf 137 till now so everything stock is bestRead More
