TVS Motors, the country's third largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has ruled out to purchase assets of LML in India. It is to be noted that some news reports claimed that TVS Motor is planning to buy assets of LML. In a statement, TVS Motors said, "The company is not aware of the source of this incorrect information carried in the said news report." Similarly, LML has also made it clear that it has no plans with TVS or any other as reported by some news providers.
TVS Motors is currently expanding their entry-level market by launching new products range in the auto market including TVS MAX 4R, TVS Jive and TVS Star Spot. The company has recently launched its MAX 4R upgraded version of discontinued Max R model in Indore. The new version will be Bharat Stage-III emission norms compliant and also comes at an attractive price of around Rs 35,000 (ex-showroom-Delhi). On the other hand, TVS Neo, TVS Streak Hybrid and TVS Apache 220cc are also upcoming two-wheelers of TVS Motors in India.
