Harley-Davidson X440 Unveiled Ahead Of July 2023 Launch
Co-developed with Hero MotoCorp, this small-capacity Harley-Davidson will take on the Royal Enfield Hunter 450
Harley-Davidson has launched its most affordable bike, the X440, and the prices start at Rs 2,29,000.
Harley-Davidson X440: that’s the name of the new small-capacity roadster developed by the Milwaukee-based bikemaker in alliance with Hero MotoCorp. Months after the “leaked” photos, the company has now shared clearer pictures of the motorcycle. Moreover, we now have word that the X440 will launch on July 3, 2023!
The upcoming Harley-Davidson bike gets its sportster-like styling derived from the now-discontinued XR1200R. And it looks like a true Harley product in the black paint scheme with the orange accents.
We’ve already seen the all-LED headlight, which resembles the one on the X 350 and X 500, both of which co-developed with QJ Motors for Asian markets. But unlike the Sino-American products, the X440 gets an air-/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine which – given the bike’s name – could be a 440cc unit making around 38PS and 30Nm.

Underpinnings on the Harley-Davidson X440 include a USD fork and preload adjustable gas-charged dual shocks, with Bybre brakes dropping the anchor. Interestingly, the Harley-Davidson X440 dons new MRF Zapper Hyke tyres, which haven’t yet been seen on any other motorcycle.Underpinnings
Now coming to the features, it gets all-LED illumination and also comes with TFT instrument console. The new set of images also show the multi-function switch cube which looks quite premium.
The Harley-Davidson X440 could be priced around Rs 2.70 lakh, which should be on par with the upcoming Triumph-Bajaj Roadster which will debut on June 27, 2023 and the Royal Enfield Hunter 450
